I think we will have a very good team come March, that will be a top defensive team in the nation
Our offense is terrible. We have one guy they respect it’s painful to see
Impressed by what. We scored 61 points.
Kansas played terrible, and still beat us.
Except for the loss, I’m pleased. After the first games I was scared we’d get blown out. I think everyone that is honest with themselves would agree.
Lost on freshman mistakes. We’ll be fine. I️ honestly thought it’d be Kansas by 25.
Please let Jemarl Baker play 12 minutes and be able to shoot. It's painful right now especially if Quade can't make anything.
If you all weren't happy with tonight then seriously go jump off a bridge. This team looked great defensively and is only going to get better. The offense will come over time like it does every year!!! They held an experienced top ranked Kansas team to the low 60's. Give me a break. This team is going to be a hand full come March!!! I was very impressed.
I’m honestly impressed because this is probably Cals most inexperienced team ever and we kept it close the entire game against a top 6 team . Sure we have lots of things to work on and improve but we will only continue to get better.
I kept waiting for one single three pointer by our guys, and it never happened.
He may or may not be a troll, I don't know. But he's right. This team is incredibly offensively challenged, and that's not going to change. They can't shoot AND they have no back-to-the-basket game. That's a bad combo. You aren't going to beat many good teams depending on transition and garbage buckets.
Both teams played absolutely terrible compared to the first game. If we're going to be good by March, it's hard to not imagine how good Duke/Michigan State will be.

It's hard to judge a game when it appears in the end that both teams are vastly overrated.
It's hard to sit here and say that there AREN'T any better teams than #4 and #7 after tonight.
And you can't turn the ball around and act like KU is WAY more experienced. Yes they are more experienced, but not necessarily great experience.

This should be how every fan should feel after this game, yes it would be great if UK won but they fought hard and battled a more experienced talented team. They made the mistakes that you should expect from a team so young but they also shows some things that you’d expect from a older team. They should be very dangerous by feb. Also remember Vanderbilt will be back.
Now all of this changes if they regress in other OOC games but at this point they should only lose one more game before he Conference starts. If that happens then I think that would be a successful OOC for this young team

KU ran into a very athletic, tall and extremely young squad that almost beat them. We have the talent. This game does not reflect who this team will become in March.
Knox is elite. Diallo still needs to figure out what he does best but is a difference maker. Alexander is very good. Washington is a stud but needs more time to get comfortable at this level. SKJ had his coming out party tonight. There is good depth on this team. The sky is not falling and all you Nancy's out there need to step back off the ledge.

Keep in mind we don't have Vanderbilt and when baker comes back he's the shooter we desperately need to help Knox

This was these young cats 1st real game against a ranked team. I was really encouraged by what I saw tonight. Cal will work on the offense. By Jan. we will see a total different team. Have faith.
