I agree. I think this is still a top-5 team in the B1G this year (don’t forget we spent some of the middle of last season around 7th). Have to win these next few at home to keep those strong expectations alive!

Road game. Raucous crowd. Really solid Illinois team. Not many favorable whistles. No Geo Baker, our leader and arguably best player. No Myles basically. And we almost won. We are a GOOD basketball team.

Agreed. We... will... be... fine. Illinois is not getting enough credit for the D they played and their hustle on the boards and 50/50 balls. Our offense is not all-world to begin with, but when we're up against a team that plays D and rebounds as well as we do, it's gonna be a struggle. We got a dose of our own medicine. They completely took us out of our rhythm, and Myles' foul trouble didn't help. With all that said, they were still only one bucket better than us today, in their place. I'm very optimistic about the rest of the season.

As long as we lace it up and play hard on defense...we will be right there every night

Time to defend home turf this week and get two hard earned wins to get to 5-2/14-4
