Rah Rah loyalty went out the window when Legacies stopped signing to play for dear old Dad’s Alma Mater.
It certainly wasn't a safe space for Rachael Ray. Her house, also her studio, was destroyed a couple of weeks ago by a fire that started in the fireplace chimney. Not sure where she's filming now, or if she is.
Im pulling for the whole NBA to go belly up. The coaches are no better than the players. Both are ridiculously over paid. Owners suck too. Tickets are too expensive. Lebron is scared to drive anywhere for fear of being murdered by a cop ? In the words of Slo Joe..." c'mon man"
I don’t have a problem with players expressing their political opinion. I don’t like it, but I don’t care that players knell during the anthem. But I do have a problem with just deciding to not play games. Especially when you’re protesting something that takes time. The cops that shot the guy in Kenosha can’t be charged in a matter of days, and maybe never in this case. They need to save the protest for when an injustice happens, like a cop who murdered someone gets found not guilty.
There are a bunch of people in Louisiana who can't give two ***** about who played ball tonight, they are too busy worrying about losing everything they have including maybe their own lives.
I’m pretty much done with professional sports. They crossed the line that shouldn’t have been crossed.

Yeah, I agree. It's really not that much different without the crowds. You hear things the players say that otherwise might not be heard (not always a good thing). In fact, it looks a little funny when they play segments from previous years when fans are standing so close together. How dare them. **

That's for sure. And many will indeed lose everything they've ever worked for. Let's just hope it's not their lives.
Like people in Portland, Seattle, Denver, Atlanta, Chicago, Kenosha....etc...?? I agree. there are more important things in life than listening to millionaire babies bouncing a ball around on a court lie about circumstances.
I'm with you. I suspect a bunch of these guys are dumb jocks too ignorant to realize they are quite likely killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Lose fans, lose revenue. Lose revenue lose those extravagant salaries. Lose enough and the owners close up shop. The only thing I care about at all in the NFL is our guys from State. If they get on that BS, I'll stop giving a damn about them too. Lost interest in MLB years ago with the strike. Lost interest in NBA as soon as they started getting overly political as well.
To clarify, I don't begrudge any of them doing their thing on their own time. But when it's my time as well, and it's game-time, I don't want to hear squat about their politics. Golden State used to be my team. I wouldn't go see them again if you offered me free season tickets court-side and I could walk to the arena. Same with the 49ers. Was a huge fan for nearly 40 years. Now I wouldn't cross the street to watch them play.
BTW, I have been one of the biggest supporters of our WBB since before it was fashionable. But I'm having a hard time giving a damn about them anymore based on some of the radical **** some of them are tweeting. I'm not talking about racial justice issues...I'm talking about some intolerant, insulting crap just like the **** you read from the militant activists from BLM. The far left BS beyond a desire for justice.
I'd rather go back to losing again than have that as part of our team. We have had a couple of them insulting fans with comments like, "You're nobody. People pay to come see us play, so if you don't want to back us up, we don't give a ^&%$! You're not a true fan anyway." or something along those lines. Again, not talking about honest open debate or anything. I'm talking about not being willing to accept any opposition to the BLM movement, or any suggestion that we all should consider the facts and evidence before we start calling people racists, murderers, etc. No room for debate with a few of them it appears, and they're not afraid to tell people to go to hell, or retweet some of the more vicious, nasty, unhinged rhetoric from the extremist activists, including those who are fine with the violence, etc.
I doubt they realize their sport doesn't make money...it costs money. And I doubt they consider that behavior like that will quickly dissolve a big chunk of the fan support they enjoy.

It is a sad statein these areas. I am glad that the Governor of WI FINALLY accepted the Administration's help early today. Seems a lot quieter since the feds showed up.
I do find it funny that a bunch of people that profess to despising the “look at me and my opinion” athletes come to a message board to tell everyone to look at them while they make a decision to not watch sports because of their opinions. I haven’t watched the NBA since the 90’s nor MLB. I stopped watching men’s basketball 2 years ago when they **** the bed every time they had an opportunity to take the next step. I didn’t come her to proclaim it. (Although I guess I just did.) Everyone says they are so sick of the political ******** in sports, the only reason I know about it is because you ******** keep bringing it up. I watch golf no problem, watch the SEC schedule show, no problem. Let’s Go Peay, Saturday will be no problem. But as soon as I come here Saturday afternoon, I’ll get to read a political post on a sports message board about how he is tired of politics in sports. Why? Because, Look At Me and My Opinions!!
Tuesday I was feeling good. Excited about the football season. I turned on sec tv to watch the 6pm show. I lasted 5 minutes. It was all Dawn Staley and the Wisconsin shooting. Turned it off.

Lol, some of it is. It's okay when there is no major event brewing like a hurricane. They also have some shows like "Weather Disasters" that aren't bad.
