Mueller did an investigation, assimilated the factual evidence he uncovered, and prepared a 448-page factual report. Former US Attorney General William Barr cherry-picked some phrases from the report and spun them into Barr’s Fairy Tales. Unfortunately, Barr abandoned his role as the attorney general for the people, and has become Trump’s personal lawyer instead.

As one reads deeper into the Report, one sees the wrongful actions taken and attempted repeatedly by this administration, and its disdain for the legal system that differentiates us from third-world countries. Thank goodness there were members of Trump’s staff (i.e., Don McGann) who flatly refused to commit the illegal acts they were asked to do, or who knows where we would be now. The testimony of Trump’s own staff lay this out, as reflected in the Report.

But it is what it is. At this point, we can recognize what’s happened and try to come together to support the office of the president. We must stop (or at least minimize) the Russians from manipulating us into factions and divides. That’s something the Democratic House and the Republican Senate should both do.

The folks arguing both sides of this on this board are good, decent people. We’re all a bit caught up in defending our positions against each other because we each want to be acknowledged as being right. Understandable. That’s human nature. Differing opinions are good for a democracy. But we need to work together to repel foreign threats like Russian election interference.

I agree for the most part, except for the characterization of Barr as being "Trump's personal lawyer". Barr's summary highlighted the important facts of the 400 page report, which was there was no collusion or cooperation between the Trump campaign and Russia the steal the election and that attempts to obstruct justice may not arise to prosecutable offenses based on the facts at hand.

There is no doubt that every administration seeks to skirt the law as much as possible when it suits them, and the items in the report come as no surprise to me, even down to Trump's "I'm fuc#ed" complaint. Unfortunately the divide, as shown on this board in a microcosm, is too deep for any coming together. Lines were drawn years ago, and no amount of investigation, reports, etc. is going to shift those lines. I'm at a point where I'm going to patiently wait until 2020, see what the landscape places before us and hope something comes along to change things. Unfortunately, at this point we're looking at Trump v. Horrible Dem Candidate, but only time will tell.

Clueless. The next Democratic AG can bring these charges. Mueller would have brought them himself if not for DOJ regs against indicting sitting Presidents.

Not going to happen. Sorry. You lost big time. America won. Trump is still President and will be until at least 2020.

Remember that time Hillary said "I'm f'ucked" when they started that Benghazi investigation?

Remember that time Hillary said she would "100% testify" and then backed out, only to provide written answers of "I don't recall" and not testify before Congress for eight hours?

Yeah, me neither.

I would have used another example than Hillary Clinton. Even members of the American Communist Party would agree with me on that.
Context shows President Trump wasn't saying "I'm f*cked" as an admission of guilt, but rather because a Special Counsel would impede his ability to govern.

And here....I thought you were a big believer of "in context"......guess I was wrong.

The thing I like best about fly fishing is when I am fishing, that’s the only thing I think about.

You will have to win the white house for that to happen. Good luck

Not going to be a pretty ending for Schiff and the suits at the FBI & DOJ. Party about to start in the next month or so.
