I like your optimism but until the team can show they can defend and play well with one another I will wait before I post what might happen in the future

Unfortunately if recent history hold up we won't be rolling until March. By then we'll be playing for a 7 or 8 seed.

I'm going with some improvement, 23-8 (13-5).....that would give us a decent enough speed to have a shot at a run if the team peaks properly. I would say maybe this sets us up for next season if we grab a a nice big or 2...could keep a few guys around like a pg, hero, etc.. . But wouldn't be shocked if they all declared for the nba, gleague, Australian league, Lithuania league, greater Milwaukee league and other such nonsense. The mindset has changed. I feel like even if they end one and done, the kids of today are still going to take any other paid option.

We aren't going undefeated in Conference. The league is just too good. My season prediction is 25-6 (14-4). Win the SECT and we're headed into the dance at 28-6. Cal will have the boys ready for battle.

I think we lose at Auburn and Tennessee. Florida could go either way. I think 2 loses maybe 3 and that would be good enough to win the regular season. I think by the time the Sec tournament rolls around we are rolling but not sure we win it. Not sure I want us to win it. Why? Last time we had a great team they lost in the finals in 2012. We all know that turned out.

14-2 or 13-3 in a very tough conference is EXTREMELY optimistic based on what we’ve seen. I sure hope you’re right.

Me to brother. You know I’m just a little off plum, but sometimes I’m level. I do love Cal, our team an UK not necessarily in that order. Doctor changed my meds and it seems to be working better than anything they’ve given me before. If I ever get back to what my normal is look out.

I’m pretty sure it will be impossible to go 8-8 in the Conference, considering there are 18 conference games.

Or 14-2 or 13-3, like my genius predictions.

Just like my wife always tells me, I’m stuck in the 90’s.

We re gonna lose 6-7 conference games we will have 10+ losses to end the year. Probably make a run in sect and get a 4-7 seed

Yep, that was my first reaction when I read his post and saw he had 11 posts as well. Just here to mock and stir up things would be my belief and not a serious overly enthusiastic UK fan.

Yes, me neither.

I think 12-6 would be optimistic.
Hoping for 14-4, thinking getting this rotation tightened up will put us back on track. I do know I watched AUB and they looked pretty dam strong. If the SEC is actually stronger than last year 12-6 will be respectful. We have to lock it down at home this year.

Once we get rolling, there's no team in the SEC that can touch us.

We'll be undefeated in conference play this year!

The SEC will be really tough this year.

We will get rolling and be a really good team, but we won't go undefeated in the SEC. It's not 2012 where the SEC was weak minus one, maybe two other teams (Vandy and Florida) and it's not 2015 where we had 10 players that saw minutes in the NBA, an 11th that played in the G-League, and a 12th that at least got an invite to a workout (and was briefly looked at by NFL teams).
