I like Lovie but I never saw that combination working out. He is a pro coach who IMO needs pros to run his stuff, and UofI just isn't a school that pulls the kind of talent you need to really make it big.Illinois looks TERRIBLE.
Could be separated and not broken. Separation is rough, one of those that will "heal" but still hurt all year. I separated mine tackling a guy just playing pick up in the Cook and it hurts plenty. Couldn't sleep on it, hard to get dressed, couldn't lift, etc. That was my perception watching him come off the field and watching them work on him before going under the tent. I was sure it was a collarbone. But then heard it wasn't anything serious...,.hmmm
Totally agree. Separation or tissue injuries in general seem to just take longer to heal than a break especially on people that age.Could be separated and not broken. It was many weeks to feel normal again and I wasn't hitting 230 lb athletes.

Them starting a guy last year who couldn't sniff our starting job in down years says a lot. By all accounts Lovie is a great guy but I think it won't work out for them.
Rahmir mentioned Mike Williams and Bootle as being amongst the fastest and him wanting to run track. I'm shocked that he didn't mention Woodyard.RB's:

I wasn't really thinking about NU beating them, I just have felt that way since the hire was announced and it has gone about like I expected. But I do think NU will beat them comfortably.Sort of kind of feels like we are still at the point that we shouldn't be bagging on other teams until after we beat them.
Thought I saw that somewhere, let's beat'em to it.OU will probably have to wait for their 900th, I think they have a bye this week..
