Great battle. Wouldn’t want to be in the middle of it unless life saving duty calls lmao

I bet it's fun for them in a way since they normally don't get to bang with someone their size and not worry about a flop

It's like in pickup ball if someone is way smaller then you and you score in the post it's kind of fun, but I'd much rather bang with someone my own size. You get to be a little more physical

Ivey is sick.
Fraser looks like he could be hurt badly.

Edit: Looks like Frazier might be ok. Good for him if that’s the case.

Indiana played with five players suspended for violation of team rules, two of them starters. This loss could really put them on the bubble if they struggle in their next three.

Ivey on fire...
Ivey is a tremendous talent, but will the officials ever whistle him for running with the ball before dribbling it? Often he shuffles his feet before putting the ball on the floor. He doesn’t need that advantage.

I can not wait until Rutgers comes to Mackey…
I have a feeling you won’t like it much…
A half-courter to cut it to 25 this time…

Congrats would be your first win in a number of years. Also beat Indiana 3 times last year.

I don’t have to guess I’ve watched their conference defeats. What does that have to do with anything?
Because they are not so much better than the rest of the conference just a little better. If they were clearly great , and there are no truly great teams like Baylor last year, they would be undefeated in the conference. Everybody is beatable. Understand now.

Here's the thing, while you may well win that game, and your average beats our average, our best beats your best.

So it really depends upon which Rutgers shows up and not much Purdue can do about that. Your can only take advantage of the opportunities we provide. That can't feel all that great.

They are clearly a cut above by every metric there is it’s not arguable.

Everyone is beatable….great point there

Best player in the Big Ten who probably will be playing in the NBA next season.

100% will be playing in the NBA next year.
Will be in discussion for #1 overall.

This probably deserves a separate thread but the BIG Ten is looking to be well represented in the 2022 NBA Draft.
A lot of the star Freshman/Sophomores are looking like 1st round picks.

After a couple years of minimal young 1st round talent, the BIG should really show up this year.

It’s funny that the big bigs in the BigTen aren’t projected very high in the draft. Thirty years ago Cockburn would have been a top 5 pick.

Kofi would've dominated the NBA in the 90s and even the early 2000s. Now in modern day NBA, big men need to be able to do more than just park themselves under the bucket and get hard points in the paint.

Purdue fans have literally been waiting yearssss to beat Rutgers. Loss after loss after loss. So frustrating that we now have Purdue fans randomly coming to our board to talk smack after beating another school when we don't play them for 4 more games. The psychological damage has been done. So good

Remember that time that Jacob Young retired Haarms from B1G basketball?
