I've ALWAYS supported that Jan deserved to get a shot at the HC job and at least 4 years to grow her program. I've always supported the players. I think many here give Deal a bad rap. I thought she played pretty well the first 3Q, just couldn't finish her shots, but she takes them within the offense based on her skill set. The 4Q was a mess because she was being asked to be the primary ball handler when Illinois turned up the heat and her team mates were not providing much assistance. Learning moment for all I guess. We better be ready today, because Michigan wants a piece of Iowa after that game in Carver......
