Lot of fight in this team they continue to defy the odds. For context, based on shot quality rutgers was expected to beat Lafayette 99% of the time that game we lost.

The arena and noise got in their head. They went 1-14 on mostly open threes in the first half. That was the game.

This. They missed a TON of threes that were really good looks, though I think they rushed a few of them because of the noise and pressure of the game, and anticipation of the close outs.

I guess I’m alone on this, but I was at the game, and saw the replay, and I don’t think their three point looks were that great. When the perimeter defenders are 6‘4“ to 6‘7“ tall, and long, The shots are not as easy to make as the same shots on that sheet where the defenders are 6‘2“. When the perimeter defenders are big, you are not as open as you might look.

When you are forced to take that many threes in one half of basketball it means that you’re not playing all that well. That’s the only shot that was available. And they were rushed and not great looks at least not all of them
