Does anyone on this board or Orange and Blue News think that leaving players and parents with broken commitments play into this ? Let’s face it Antigua or Chin will get paid at either place. Do it won’t come down to money in my opinion.

Lastly, this is a 1 year deal for Antigua as he will be a head coach at a Power 5 School Next year.

You really think a guy that didn't have much success as a head coach and was fired for violations occurring under his watch is in line for a P5 job??

Poster joined yesterday that is his first ever post. He is an Illini fan with wishful thinking.

Far as all the evidence I can see, points to both OA & Chin coming to Uk. Course, that’s just what is out in the social media ether but still seems compelling at least at this point. We will see soon I suppose.

Antiqua was the worst head coach at the University of South Florida in their history and that is saying a mouthful. The only good one that had was Lee Rose and he coached 50 years ago.

Under no circumstances should Antigua be considered a candidate for UK head coach. It would be insane to even consider such a thing

At least. Cal isn’t gonna do all this to get an assistant for one freaking year and deal with all this hassle again, a year later.

Damn I didn’t realize he was a UIUC booster? Familiar with him as he’s an alum of my fraternity. Thought he focused more on Jaguars/Fulham but that def makes things more interesting. Seems like this could go either way.

IU is Indiana (would be like calling Kentucky KU), and donors often pay for part of salaries.
