Hikarious. He said that he would stop the war before he went into office. He said that after the attempted assassin.
Honestly, I'm not a Trump is owned by Russia person, but boy it's hard not to think he loves him some Putin based on his actions and words. Every,single,thing Trump does has helped Russia. Why? Why help an enemy, and hurt friends who have helped us when we needed them.
The thing is you are hung up on Trump being wrong. You just want a win. Take it, no one cares.
The fact is, that TRUMP MADE AN EXTREME EFFORT TO END THE WAR.
Voters see it. The world sees it. He made a strong effort on his campaign. It may not work, and that is ok.
The world sees Ukraines greed. They are losing public support and it may cost them their country.
Without Trump and the USA, they might as well start speaking Russian.
Another issue the left will fall on the sword for.
Ukraine is more unpopular by the day. They are seen as a bunch of ingrates on the world stage at the moment.
An extreme effort to end the war would include an extreme effort to pressure the aggressor. Americans have only seen his humiliation of the victim. You magas should be embarrassed by the pass you give to the dictator while you mock the invaded.

We were told the war in Ukraine was a partial reason for inflation under the Biden admin. Very unpopular with the American taxpayer.

When it’s done in 2 years republicans will be posting your words on campaign banners. At least you should hope so if you care about Ukraine.

How can that be when the majority of Americans support helping Ukraine? You're only speaking for the small group of Americans that hate Zelenskyy because he wouldn't open a fake investigation into Joe Biden.

You always post these random polls. I just don’t give them much credence. What is the margin of error? What methods were used? Someone who gambles on statistics and skews daily, I don’t trust those things any more than gas station sushi. I wouldn’t use that poll to place any type of wager. Those are the “retail” polls aka “dumb money” polls.
I think it would help your understanding of the world if you decipher information better.
We literally just had an election where it’s widely agreed upon that inflation / economy was the #1 issue.
There is 0% doubt in my mind I can find several posts from the left linking Putins invasion of Ukraine and our demand to defend then being a large contributor to our inflation at the time.
We were told to deal with it and it was a badge of honor to help Ukraine.
If you can’t link all that together, and how Americans were unwilling to finance that war, then the number 21% applies

Yoshi, he said a lot of things, just like EVERY candidate does. Some of it is hyperbole, some of it is nonsense, some of it is insight into goals, but unrealistic timeframes. Let's recap some of the things he campaigned on.
- Bring down inflation day. We all know this is impossible, yet he said it, and of course the left beat this drum for about 6 weeks until the inflation came down. Will it stay down...who knows, but you yourself started a thread around grocery prices that you pounded on for weeks.....why are you not updating that thread now.
- He said he would stop the war day. Again we all know this is impossible. He has at least tried to bring both sides to the table. What did Biden do......send money to Ukraine. So he hasn't stopped the war, but my gosh man there are attempts at peace.
- He said he would close the border. Job well done. I remember all the teeth gnashing and insults hurled at the republicans for refusing to pass a bill that would still allow thousands of people to cross the border. He crushed that argument and yet nary a democrat will give him an ounce of credit for this.
- He said he would institute policies to prevent the US from getting ripped off. Almost every democrat would agree with this if it was a democrat president. He could probably have made it smoother, but he is at least trying. What did Biden do? He touted bringing back Chip Manufacturing to the US. What he didn't say is that he provided billions in subsidies for those manufacturers to come to the US. Trumps approach has the same end goals, but a different approach.
- He said he would improve the middle class. The investments pouring into this country are fantastic. New factories, new jobs to build them, new jobs to staff them.....all of this helps the middle class.
- He said he would lower gas prices. This is a direct assistance to everyone, but especially the middle class and it is being done.
- He said he would find waste, fraud and abuse in the federal spending. All democrats hate DOGE, but my gosh man, Biden and the democrats were spending like drunk sailors. Where were they on cutting costs. Biden hired a **** ton of federal employees.
Trump is betting his entire legacy on his policies, which of you are honest, you would see have America's best interest in mind. You can complain about the process and approach all you want, but I find it just dumbfounding the pushback that he didn't do it day 1 "like he campaigned on".
I know we will never agree on everything, but like I asked DPIC the other day, if you were the head Honcho what would you be doing. I think that is a fair question to those who disagree with what Trump is doing.

I said he didn’t do what he said he would, which is true. If it happens in 2 years he still will not have done what he said he would. He missed the chance. You keep making excuses. I don’t want to see trump fail, I only want to see him stop lying.

I don’t know. They’re also a pretty **** party based on their last two candidates. I don’t vote for them. Try finding someone who will help us and vote for them. But this isn’t about that.
So far everything he has done seems scripted from the KGB playbook. Not to mention how extensively Russia helped facilitate his election.

Russia loves Trump, he seems to love them back, at the detriment of countries who have been out friends.

And oh,BTW, remember in the Oval when JD lost his **** when Zelensky said they had tried to have agreements with Russia, but Russia wasn't trustworthy? Yeah. Who was right?
It's not just you, there are many reasons to be suspicious of their relationship.

No idea if true, but if this were true, I hope the conservatives would agree this is concerning? Like, even if not compromised directly, that this would be a strategic error they would not support?

Honestly, I manage a doctor's office so I check between patients or whatever. Got lots of downtime some days, it fills the time.
There are days when it's completely useless and not worth checking, but some days there are some good conversations and good insights so it sucks me back in.
I do the same and your comment applies to both sides. I mean look at the threads, overwhelmingly more posts by specific posters trying to support Trump. Seems like there's a lot more effort of people spending their day trying to pump up the administration under an extremely questionable first 100 days...

Reading is your hardest challenge. I guess this agreement will go back in time to January and stop fighting when trump said he’d end it. It’s hard to know who is worse biden fans who couldn’t admit he was losing it or trump fans who have no connection with the truth.
