Yesterday was truly disappointing simply because we should have had that game. Hands down. 2 really silly turnovers right at the beginning, Martinez getting injured, some bad penalties and dropped balls, and our secondary not being able to stop that one gigantic receiver are what did us in.
Having said that, though, this looks like an entirely different team. Our defense was NASTY up front. Our RB's gashed Colorado bad. I actually loved seeing our players get chippy and mouth off to the Colorado guys when they would start ****. It's that kind of edge that we haven't had in years, and I can't wait to see what Year 2 brings. This is going to be a long season, and we may not even go bowling, but we're going to get better and better every week. This coaching staff knows whats up.
