I don't know what good firing him now would do but I hope he's fired as soon as gets back to starkville. Get the word out that we are willing to pay and lets go get a damn coach.

I would rather sign our football coach to an extension at the moment.

I was a Raypologist too, and I still think he should get to the end of this year. For one, you can't overreact and make all of the candidates skittish to start. That's what happened with Stans, nobody would touch us after we fired a coach that won 20 games a year. We have to endure this and hope the team finds some consistency - it has been lacking this year due to injuries. Some leaders need to step up too - Ware, Sword and Ready are SEC players. Houston and Daniels are too. For a total rebuild, he has gotten some talent here. If we continue down this road, the next guy will owe him for sure. Speaking of - Mike Davis and Texas Southern just went into East Lansing and beat Izzo. He and others would come here now if the money is right.

I don't even care about basketball, and this situation may seem to be somewhat of an embarrassment to some who do, but it's a different kind of embarrassment than what we were experiencing with Stansbury's last year or so with players' antics and total lack of respect for him. RR probably deserves another year.

Were people really that embarrassed by two of our basketball players fighting? Sure, it was stupid that it happened in the stands and unfortunate it was caught on camera. College kids get in fights sometimes though.

that raise(d) the most hell about that fight are the morons that had some personal vendetta against Stansbury, for the most part.

I couldn't have cared less about it honestly. I thought it was stupid, but it really didn't matter.

I'm as MSU as it gets...just don't care about basketball at any level. I should be ignored when it comes to basketball.
