Garza with two 3 pointers in the last minutes of the game sealed the win.A outstanding college center that can score around the basket and from the 3 point line.

Cockburn had to guard him inside and out

He won't have to worry about that with Johnson

Iyo looked like he was still trying to give a foul after the inbounds with only 4 seconds left. Roughed up McCaffrey's son a bit but it was the Illini coach that seemed to have a lot to say.

Yeah Illinois was clearly trying to foul still refs wanted to go home

I watched the game, but missed the handshake drama. What happened other than IL asst said something to McCafferry and he got pissed and told everyone handshake is over.

Anyone have details / rumors in what was said? Not sure why IL coaches would be squawking it was a tough fought game both ways. Iowa made plays at the end, IL didn’t.

Brad Underwood has some issues hat he has to deal with at Illinois

One is how his assistants acted during the handshake which was bush on their part despite them being pissed justified or not

Secondly Griffin on Illinois stepped on a Purdue players chest several games ago

Makes me skeptical on the culture on that team as it’s not everyday you see the above happening.
