Actually a 3 point game 54-51, but I truly believe we're 8-10 points better at home.
Garza with two 3 pointers in the last minutes of the game sealed the win.A outstanding college center that can score around the basket and from the 3 point line.
Cockburn had to guard him inside and out
He won't have to worry about that with Johnson
I watched the game, but missed the handshake drama. What happened other than IL asst said something to McCafferry and he got pissed and told everyone handshake is over.
Anyone have details / rumors in what was said? Not sure why IL coaches would be squawking it was a tough fought game both ways. Iowa made plays at the end, IL didn’t.

Iowa wasn’t happy with the way that Illinois fouled at the end. Will be interesting when Iowa visits Illinois later this season.

Secondly Griffin on Illinois stepped on a Purdue players chest several games ago
Makes me skeptical on the culture on that team as it’s not everyday you see the above happening.
