Does anybody know where the NU ticket section is for the game? Alumni Association is offering tailgate and ticket package...but don't know where the tickets might be

Was told by NU ticket account executive our allotment is end zone or corners at Soldier Field. Assume secondary market can get you "better" seats but for this Wildcat fan, no way am I sitting in the middle of Illini fans.

Right now, the secondary market is very pricey. StubHub is going for $50 or more......Sit back in your den and watch it on your big screen and eat leftover turkey sandwiches and drink a nice Zin rather than pay those exorbitant ticket prices.

I got 4 tickets on the sideline somewhere. My brother lives close enough that he's a "friend of solider field" meaning he has access to 4 tickets to any non-bears game. He's not sent the tickets until 2 weeks before the game so I don't know the section. Free high fives will be available to all in my section.

Way to support the Wildcats! Maybe you and Wrestler can sit in front of his 90 inch jumbo-tron while real fans go and cheer on NU at Soldier Field. Hey, give him a call and I'm sure he will set you up. Oh, wait he's probably out trick or treating with his kids. Call later.

I hear he has three liters of zin in a box in the refrigerator . . . may not be a bad deal.

I saw a groupon for tickets - very affordable options, probably in Illini sections though

If enough NU fans buy tickets , you won't be.

What kind of turnout are we expecting? Of course, the weather may be a factor for some, but I'd toss out a guess of ~45,000.

If the Ill-Whine-I continue to tank like they've done for the last 4 games (and I include their improbable 1-point victory over a terribly coached UNL BugEater team in the last 10 seconds of the game - and yes I understand, it still counts as a official "W") against the BuckNuts at home and the Golden Rodents away, Rantoul's B1G Ten Team won't draw but ~12K at the "UFO By The Lake." After getting smoked by a middling State Penn team away yesterday, Ill-Annoy friends of mine are already talking about Ill-Annoy basketball season; so the latest mood among the PumpkinHeads Faithful for supporting their train wreck football team is waning fast. In fact, with what the Broiler Chickens did to UNL yesterday (which was no fluke with the BugEaters 3 best offensive skill players out), it wouldn't' be much of a surprise if the Ill-Whine-I could be skunked in their next 3 games before facing the 'Cats. If the 'Cats can take State Penn & the Broiler Chickens over the next 2 weeks, they will draw ~20K at the UFO - bet on that one.

The tickets are between $18 and $39, depending on seat location. They appear to be available in all parts of the stadium, thus I doubt there will be enough 'pumpkinheads" to fill all of those seats.

The fact that we need a Groupon to unload 100-level seats is embarrassing for both teams.

$115 per person for the ticket plus NAA tailgate. That's a bit steep, especially if the tickets are in the endzone.

I'll be at the game, though I haven't looked into tickets yet and don't know how many people I'll be with. Gonna be great to see another NU game in person, though.
