There are some grumblings from Auburn fans that Ike might affect the start time of the Auburn game. Anyone heard anything like this? I believe someone on one of their boards said the coaches are already planning for it. What do the weather experts on here think about Ike. I dont know crap about hurricanes, but that thing looks nasty right now.

latest i've seen on it was that it was going to be headed more towards the texas-louisiana coast... there's still a slight possibility for it heading towards us, but at this point, i doubt it.

The forecast models have changed every day so its still unknown where its going.
They have changed everyday, but luckily for Mississippi, they keep pushing them further and further westward. There's a high pressure that's kind of been forcing it to go southwest for a little while, and as long as it keeps doing that, by the time that High Pressure moves out of the way, it'll be too late for it to make it up our way... But I don't want to get my hopes up just yet... I'm really hoping it going over Cuba just rips the hurricane to shreds...

And that one shows it heading for Texas or SW Louisiana. Of course that one only goes out 5 days, but it's been right on the last few storms.
