Igbanu had himself a night tonight. 26 pts, 10 reb, 4 assts, 4 blocks and 4 steals. He tweeted it he was doing his best Draymond Green impression.

Nice line. I don't expect him to put up those kind of numbers next year against D-1 competition but it shows the potential for two or three years down the road.

He's having a nice year. His team is 11-5. He's avg 19.3 pts, 50% fgs, 73% ft's, 9 rbs, 2.3 asst's, 1.5 stl's and 1.2 blks.
I agree that he has shown the skills to help us down the road. He's very well rounded and hopefully, as with most big men, he'll develop much more as he matures.

Looks like he either plays a lot larger than his size (height) or he's playing against small competition. I'm guessing it's a combination of both.

Why do you say that?

Those are great numbers, I just know that the competition level his HS plays at during the regular season isn't exactly outstanding. If you go and look at MaxPreps, the tallest kids on a number of the teams they're playing are 6'6". I'm not saying he doesn't play oustanding basketball... just that the competition level he'll face next year will be a greater challenge than he's used to.

Kevin Johnson played in a home-school league in Houston. Playing in the WAC was a step up for him as well. That's why recruiting is an art rather than science. They think he can play in the American. It's not what he can do now, but what they project him doing 3 years from now.

Right. KJ had also had benefit of going up against Ruffin, Kurtz, Shelton, and Coley in practice for a couple of years before he was ready to contribute. That sweet little hook shot was probably swatted many times before he got it right.

KJ could catch and shoot quicker than anyone I ever remember in a TU uniform going back to '92.

That's completely true. I don't disagree.
