Yes, MP won a title in I think 1960, first integrated Charlotte team to win one, but haven’t been back since.

Myers Park won in 1965. I think Rick Arrington may have been the qb that year. Played in the NFL a few years. His daughter is Jill Arrington, former sideline reporter, that was asked by Bobby Bowden when she went to interview after an FSU win, "how's your daddy doing?" His granddaughters are Elle and Dakota Fanning.
Will be a tall order if they face Reidsville.

Correct. Played at Purdue. Believe he is the first African American athlete to break the color barrier in Meck County schools.
