Why would you make your QB switch public on a Tuesday before the game? Isn't that something you'd rather MSU find out on Saturday?

I've heard the fight stuff. Although even that seems like something I would keep in-house until Saturday.

Not to mention, I didn't think Auburn suspended players for fights.

Yes, and all of the above

Alumni Bitching,

QB punching another player.

5 tds vs 6 intercepts

About half the yards DAK put up.

All of the above.

Who knows? I just know that 2 hours after that rumor came out, Sean white was named starter. If I were thinking of making the move, I'd have got Sean white some snaps last Saturday after the game was out of hand.

Slight thread hi-jack:

Let's assume Johnson didn't hit it. And only the others are true. I may be completely off base here, for I have zero MI6 operatives or CIA spooks feeding me Intel on any program. However, it seems to me that few other programs, in the SEC at least, have HC's so beholden to, whom must cowtow to, the boosters/alumni than Auburn & Ole Miss.

White will be pulled for non performance around the start of the second quarter. Johnson will then come in and surpass every expectation anyone ever had for him.

Alumni $ clearly is the motor foe auburn athletics. They are theost knee-jerk school I think there ever was.
If this season continues to go south look for Hus to go as well. (1 year removed from a title game).

I looked at an Auburn board after it came out to see what they were saying about it. One guy said the same thing, asking why they wouldn't let MSU watch film and prepare for Johnson all week, then start White. Another answered saying it was past Monday, so we had done all we needed to prepare for Johnson by now anyway.

White would have been getting all the snaps in practice this week and something that major could not have been kept quiet.....so says former coach Jack Crowe, (coached Jacksonville St to a win over unwm/tsun in 2010)....he doesn't sound like a big fan of Malzahn.

Attendance for the game...

What # of Auburn fans would show up on Saturday to watch Jeremy Johnson start AGAIN for Auburn after what he has shown the first 3 games? Their last home performance was an awe inspiring victory over FCS Jacksonville State and after that they lost a nail biter to LSU---and now they face MSU, at team that LSU blew out by 2 points.

If Johnson were to start and throw an INT in the first quarter, the Auburn faithful would head to the exits. Playing the Frosh at least puts butt in the seats just out of curiosity---"wonder how he will do" sort of thing.

That is a very good question. I don't know. I'm with you. First thing anyone would know that I was changing QBs would be when my offense went out on the field for the first snap.

Yeah the old Saban quarterback switcheroo that worked out so well last week. I saw a clip from his Monday presser where an AL hack asked about the surprise at QB on Sat. Saban looked at him like your a 17ing dumb *** and said there was no surprise at QB. I knew who was going to start all week.

Have the opposing team (MSU) change their defensive game plan as a distraction? JJ is going to play, maybe not start, but Sean White is not going to save their offense. With them having two other former QBs (WRs) taking snaps in practice, who knows what is really going to transpire?

All I have to say is we get the pleasure of introducing Sean White to not only college football but also to the SEC. Any takers on how long his uniform stays clean?

Auburn is 8th in sacks allowed. We're 3rd in sacks. I think we'll get em a time or 2.

Rankings are in the sec
