We beat Alcorn worse than we did Memphis. Then we go to Houston and beat them on the road by 10 or more. If our team cannot get motivated for that game, we have a problem. We have unfinished business with them...it's that simple.<div>
</div><div>Additionally, it's the key to a 7-5 season which should be this team's minimum goal. </div>

I'm not overly concerned with the final score of the Alcorn game. I anticipate a lot of minutes for reserves in that game. That being said, the reserves should be able to wax Alcorn, but a mistake or to is bound to be made.

I watched a bit of the Houston-Tulane replay. Leach was doing the color. He actually was pretty good but unpolished. He speaks his mind, brutally honest.

Houston is breaking in their 3rd QB of the year with the #1 and #2 going down the week before. He is athletic but fairly inaccurate. Houston has the week off to prepare for us. I hope Diaz can confuse this guy with coverage/blitz schemes. It won't be a cakewalk.

but essentially we have a "week off" before playing at Houston next week as well. Our coaching staffs are going to spend as much if not more time gameplanning for Houston this week as Alcorn State. Sure, they are going to say all the right things to the media and to the football team, but behind closed doors they are putting together the gameplan for next week.

they would be open to running Houston's offense for us, it will be like a practice game for us. After we are renting their team for the weekend, they should be open to any request we might have.

ASU has a fast mobile QB and they sometimes run a no-huddle offense.

So Alcorn may be helping us for Houston, even more with Broadway as the Houston QB.
