Bennett will have as many titles as Cal. It will make some people come up with new excuses

Bennett started at Virginia the same year Cal started at UK, so which 10 year run do you want?

No question. I take Cal's run every time. I'm just saying that it might tough to swallow Kentucky losing to a 16 seed, but I think I might take it if Kentucky won it all the next year.

Tony Bennett's deal with the devil will have been sealed. I'm convinced he had a taste last year against little brother with that 4 points in 0.9 seconds win. He had to promise to lose to a 16 seed to pull it off. I wonder what he had to promise this year with those two miracle wins? Tony got to know that the devil always gets his due.

Or maybe I'm just tired and reading to much into things?

Cal lost as a 1 seed in the NIT

What's your point? K has losses to 2, 15 seeds since Cal has been at Kentucky. Outside of the NIT in 2013, got beat out in second, 2016, only made it to the Sweet 16 last season, other than that Cal has been at least to the Elite Eight every season since he arrived in 2009. Went to an Elite Eight, National runner up, Sweet 16 the last 3 years he was at Memphis..

I think TT wins it and that would be great for college basketball. How many top 100 kids are there on their team? One of you computer experts can find his a lot faster than me.

UVA has now won two games that were lost. Like Duke, the third time is the charm. They finally lose Monday nite.
Right, after losing it’s top player. Remember we were ranked 25th going into that Florida game when we lost Noel.

Cal only gets somewhat of a pass. At UK, losing one player to injury should never send you to the NIT. The roster was not what it should have been. That was Cal's fault.

Cal goes through almost complete roster overhaul every year so it was a matter of time till we had a season like the NIT year. And to be honest for Cal to do what he does with almost a new team year after year is very impressive in my opinion. He's not going to make every UK fan happy since few hated the guy from the beginning, but I'm happy as hell we are knocking on the door at the end of every season.

No you wouldn't and this site would come completely unglued as would most UK fans. Don't give me that. UK fans were losing it because UK lost in the EE.

You wouldn't take that? This isn't in defense of Bennett but if I could be promised a title the year after a loss to a 16 seed in the first round, I'd take it gladly.

If they win then basketball is a heap of ****.

Their pace is embarrassing.

Not trying to start an argument but asking a serious question. I know everyone is talking about the DD that wasn't called, but no one is talking about the AU player almost ripping the UV player's jersey off prior to the DD. The foul was clearly a foul to me, stepped under the shooter and gave him no chance to land.

But my question is this, was UV who as far as I know runs a clean program winning better for the sport, or a team who's lead recruiter is heading to federal prison for influencing kids with shoe money? Of course Pearl denied any knowledge, but he already one show cause tag attached to him for lying to the NCAA. How many other of the 350 or so BB coaches have had that attached to them. AU bought a NC in football with Scam, and came very close to a NC in basketball. IMO, they should have been banned from post season play.

This final four shouldn't be celebrated. Its a cry for help...

we need more freedom of movement initiatives. Rules changes or at least points of emphasis to help offensive basketball. move out the charge circle. and the "walling up" riding the hip of the dribbler with your hands in the air used to still be called blocking. Way too much contact on the ball outside of the lane makes it impossible to execute offensively....and call it the same in the post season. Give them 6 fouls if you mst but call the hand-checking and body blocking more.

No one wants to watch a first to 40 pt final. Get the peach basket back out for this one.

I’m at the point now that programs cheating don’t even bother me. Everyone’s cheated at some point and if you’re not doing it even a little now then you’re not trying hard enough.

Certain programs have gotten away with it and the NCAA has basically proven to be a sackless bunch of cowards. There’s not really any such thing as “the right way” anymore.

Just win games.
