In the Cal era, the worst was probably Wiggins for me.

The Twins, Young, Wiggins, and Randle as starters would have hung number 9. That would have been the perfect Cal team. Every starter would have been 6’6-6’9 and athletic. Wiggins was the missing piece, IMHO.

I would add Bamba to the list of difference makers. Bamba down low with Knox and SGA? Definitely agree with miles bridges. We needed a big in that 2016 class though. I don’t think Zimmerman or any of the bigs in that class were good enough however. Maybe the kid that went to IU that we passed on?

I agree with Wiggins. He needed someone to get in his face a little. Self just didn’t have the right demeanor. But anytime he was questioned in high school he responded.

I think the twins and Randle’s competitive spirits would have rubbed off on him as well.
Was that the year the one kid went to Purdue and tore it up? Swan Ivan I think. Was he waiting on us at one point?

This wasn’t a miss, but when Allen Iverson got in trouble we missed out on an electrifying college player.

Zimmerman and Thomas Bryant were the same year as Caleb swanigan I think. We were always a long shot for him. His godfather or or trainer or something was also an nfl agent with strong ties to Purdue? I can’t remember exactly but he was really close to someone that was joined at the hip with Purdue
