Pisgah’s last 2 games are against two teams that have a combined two wins. We’ll drop most likely every week and I’ll be the first to admit, we are not a top 10 program in the West. OWP is boosting us a lot and the mountains are most definitely down. No disrespect to any of our opponents, but they have high winning % but outside of Franklin or Tuscola, I don’t see any with the team makeup to move past the 2nd round without matchups falling just right for them in 4A and above.

Burns & Cramer get nightmare draws in this scenario. Still 3 weeks go so hopefully it changes. The top 3 are locked in in the West.... Burns and Mt Pleasant are vying for the 4 and 5.... Based on current RPI and schedules remaining I don't think either drops to the 6.... Burns will get the 4 as long as they beat Cherryville and Highland. The Shelby game won't matter based on OWP% (Burns opponents records would be 13-13). Mt Pleasant most likely loses to Monroe and win the other two. (Mt Pleasant opponents would be 12-14). OPW% is based on my expected outcomes. However Anson could very well beat Mt Pleasant which would make all that a mute point.

What happens with West Stokes will be important. They could go east or west.
Yes, that one could shift a lot right up to the end.
I’ve not been real high onus advancing too far this year but this bracket looks pretty weak.

There is definitely a talent drop off from the current top 4 to the rest with the exception of Cramer. They belong in that too group, just some tough luck and terrible out of conference games put them where they are. Believe me they can line up and beat anybody in that top 4 of Hibriten, Tuscola, Burns & West Iredell. It's a 5 horse race for the West
I think Maiden, Mount Pleasant or West Stokes could play spoiler as well. May not have the horses to go all the way but definitely could trip someone up.
I think Tuscola needs to get Hyatt back at QB to have a shot for regionals. That’s really the only reason, I put them in the 2nd “tier”. Cramer has nothing to do with their talent. RPI will just end up creating a harder path for them to go through. If they wind up with a bye, it obviously helps their case substantially by not having to meet up with a contender by the 2nd round.
Unfortunately I don't think there's anyway Cramer gets a bye.... Although I think they absolutely deserve it. They will have to beat Lincolnton and have some other teams lose to get that.... I actually hope they do get the 7 or 8 spot

They probably win their remaining three games but it’s low RPI wins. They’ll fall but maybe not too much.
No offense to any team, but if the top 8 doesn’t change we will be happy with no bye and the #10 Seed.
On side note if you don't have turf field and need help marking the field WSSU got a guy.

I think Thomasville will win out and be 9-1 and might be higher than a 5 seed. They already beat the 2nd best team in the league and the others are marginal at best. Glad to see them coming back strong and having a solid season. New coaches are doing a great job with that talent,

ED and Trinity will not help, but will not hurt much either. PG will likely be 6-4 and keep them where they are. I do not see #5 ER losing their last few games so they are likely settled at 5. Lincolnton is right behind the dogs at #7 but only has one team left with a winning record. I guess they are looking at a #6 seed. But as we all know, the state may find a way to see it differently.
