It will be a perfect Big 12 trifecta today.

Last place Baylor blew out Kansas.

WVU isn't only top dog to lose to an underdog.

You gotta love the Big 12 parity and strength, top to bottom.

WVU will can finish first by beating Kansas and Texas Tech.

And the season is dang near over!

What a conference!

Just because the teams in the Big 12 keep beating up on each other doesn't mean the conference is strong. Remember who won the Big 12 - SEC challenge?

Ever the optimist. It's always if, if, if with you lately. Well, I'll give you an if. If WV doesn't quit their habit of never seizing golden opportunities, ie the Kansas loss today, and or blowing big leads, ie the Kansas game in Morgantown, or failing to beat teams they should beat, ie Kentucky, they aren't going much of anywhere. I'm almost willing to predict the Big 12 won't see anyone go past the round of 32.

If wvu would win some of the games they are supposed to then you would'nt have to go into spin mode about such and such losing to such and such.

You are either lying or a blatant Big12 homer? You left out the main reason for the upsets. It’s not that the Big12 is that tough. The SEC proved that to be false. The reason for the upsets is obvious to a non Big12 homer. There aren’t any really really good teams. Why do some of you guys struggle with this Conference Pride crap? Weird!

The challenge didn’t prove anything except the SEC won 6 games and the Big XII 4.

SEC is also a 14 Team conference.
Their best team didn’t play but they also were able to withhold 3 other teams.

Big XII is still ahead of the SEC is conference RPI.

Big12 losing to SEC doesn’t mean a thing? Ok if you say so.

Does WVU beating UVA mean anything

ACC is at best the 4th best conference so Pitt fans have no room to talk

How about St Johns beating Duke

That win by WVU means a lot. The problem is WVU has **** the bed the last month so the losses keep piling up reducing the value of that win over UVA. We have no idea who the best Conference is at this point. None. So we will know once the NCAA teams are announced. That will establish what Conference has the most quality teams. Then the Sweet16 determines what confence has the best teams. Then the Final Four will determine which Conference has the best team in the country. I can’t remeber but who won the Natty last year? What you think or post doesn’t matter. The other insecure Big12 homers don’t matter either.

Pitt is horrible this year. Maybe the worst team in Pitt history. The surprising thing to me was how close the Pitt/WVU game was in the last 5-10 minutes.

One team doesn’t establish the strength of a conference.

Just because North Carolina won the NCAA Tournament doesn’t mean the ACC was superior

It just means UNC was the best team last year.

Last year doesn’t mean anything this year haha. Why does a Texas moron worry so much about the ACC and/or WVU? Probably because of all the success the ACC has had and because WVU hoops is actually good. Oh! And, Texas sucks at both haha.

I am not worried about basketball.
It seems like your entire narrative on here is to attack the Big XII.

Because the ACC is great at basketball and values basketball the sport will be their Achilles heel.

Meaning that if UNC and Duke were football schools the ACC would be generating twice the profits it does.
Because it values basketball over football and prays for ND the ACC will ultimately become another Big East

Don’t go there fool. The National discussion surrounding college football is SEC, ACC and Big Ten. The College Playoffs has established the top football conference and the Big12 and PAC 12 are an afterthought. Don’t corner yourself into a goofball corner. See! Don’t say I never helped ya out.

Have they.
Then why wasn’t Florida St able to keep Jimbo Fisher.
It is either he was a horrible coach or they couldn’t afford him.

Trust and believe if Florida St football hits the ******* they will jump.

They almost did in 2012.

Sounds like Aggy helped out the Big XII afterall.

Texas can buyout both Florida St and Clemson’s GOR in 2023 if needed

Especially if UT and the Big XII already have negotiated with ESPN.

Good things are about to happen in the Big XII in the next 5 years.

Look everyone..........he’s going there haha. Now here’s what I’m gonna do guys. I’m gonna call him out as being the 40 year old virgin. Then I’m gonna tell him what a shitshow UT athletics are. Lastly I’m gonna taunt into posting all things UT/Big12. Here we go.

Listen dude if you weren’t the 40 year old virgin you would relize Texas has underachieved badly and is a horrible Big12 partner that makes the Big12 unstable. Because Texas is nothing more than Oklahoma’s ***** no one takes Big12 seriously. Deal with the facts little man.

This is the latest revenue.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.bu...evenue-college-sports-texas-longhorns-2017-11

Notice Florida St is 11 million behind Florida.

The difference is TV revenue.
Can the ACC network make it up is the question.

I doubt it but we will see.

Right now the ACC is making I believe 8 million less than the Big XII and that is without Third tier rights.

Florida State
Donations: $32.4 million

Licensing/Rights fees: $36.1 million

3-year avg. football revenue: $61.1 million

3-year avg. men's basketball revenue: $11.3 million

3-year avg. women's basketball revenue: $4.7 million

Florida

Donations: $43.1 million

Licensing/Rights fees: $62.2 million

3-year avg. football revenue: $75.9 million

3-year avg. men's basketball revenue: $11.4 million

3-year avg. women's basketball revenue: $0.2 million

You see the difference in rights fees...

Look at my puppet boys and girls baaahahahahaha! How did I know the 40 year old Virgin would react like this. I crack myself up. Now let try one more thing here guys. I’m gonna tell him that if the GOR is not secured by 2022 or 2023 Texas may be forced into the PAC12 haha because the ACC and Big Ten have already told them no dice on the massive failure known as LHN. Here we go guys.

Dude Texas is such a horrible Partner there is a real possibility UT has to settle on staying with a lame Big12 adding Memphis or even funnier landing in the PAC12 while Big Dick Oklahoma goes to SEC. Own your destiny Major.

The world does not exist inside your own narrow mind

A&M’s move on Jimbo Fisher was for two reasons.
1) To increase Aggy exposure in Texas
2) To break apart the ACC

The SEC wants into North Carolina and Virginia

So the Big XII and SEC are allies in some things and enemies in others.

They both agree the ACC needs to go.

I will be surprise if you hear anything about Oklahoma going to the SEC this May or June.
Why would OU leave if they are getting into the CFP and are Top 5 in revenue.

Look at the fool guys!!! Aaaaaahahahaha! After all his anti WVU trolling I make him into the village idiot just for you guys. If you guys ever gave me a like it should be now. He’s been humiliated and ***** slapped and doesn’t even realize it haha. Time for the kill shot guys.

Hey dude Texas academics must be horrible if you actually attended UT. Their academics can’t be good if you are representing Texas. I guess it’s a better academic school than Oklahoma but if you’re Texas material then that degree is overrrated(here we go boys and girls). My guess is you’ve never been to Texas. I would also bet anything that you’ve never played a down of football and may very well a nerd. Be honest!!! Am I right?

Someone is triggered....

You said it yourself. Texas is a cancer so why break up the Big XII.

Only reason the Big XII had a target was because of Texas.

No one cares about Oklahoma and their few million people.

Next step is North Carolina and Virginia.
Both populated states with great programs.

When will you realize that it just doesn't matter. We could have a 5 game lead with 5 games left and blow the regular season title. We can't stand success. Unless you are a rifle fan, we exist solely for entertainment value.

The Big 12 title belongs to Texas Tech for the taking.
Unless the Big 12 craziness goes into extra high gear.
WVU's best shot is the Big 12 tournament and March Madness. Great entertainment, though. I helps me get to WVU football.

Listen old timer. Big12 hoops is a one trick pony. Hasn’t Kansas won the Title like 69 years in a row. That’s the sign of one good program and a poor conference. Unless of course Kansas has won like 15 Natty Titles.
Is that the case?

Kansas’ James Naismith invented basketball.

Kansas currently has the longest streak of consecutive NCAA tournament appearances of all-time (28),
[6] the longest current streak of consecutive NCAA winning seasons (33), the most winning seasons in Division I history (97), the most non-losing seasons (.500 or better) in NCAA history (100), the most conference championships in Division I history (60), the most First Team All Americans in Division I history (22), and the most First Team All American Selections in Division I history (29).

Kansas won the national title in 1952 under Phog Allen.

It took triple overtime to get the Wilt Chamberlain team from winning the title game in 1957.

In 1988 Larry Brown brought Kansas a national title.

Kansas is tied for 7th in number of national titles (3). Not exactly chopped liver.
I'll assume you used "oldtimer" as a term of endearment.

But...but...but wait a minute! You've been telling everyone on this forum and the others you frequent that the Mountaineers nearly had this conference title in the bag. You quote statistics (from Google) and display your modern day research skills to show the parity in the conference and swell with conference pride when discussion why the Big 12-2=10 is the greatest basketball conference in the land...and maybe ever! Now your crystal ball has moved on to the conference tournament as the place to prove your point? Unbelievable.

I did use it respectfully(for sure). Anyway thanks for the history lesson that everyone is well aware of. And thanks for kinda proving my point that the Big12 is indeed the one trick pony most think it is. But the NCAAs gives bragging rights every year so it’s wide open.
