Brady is a considerably worse coach than Stansbury.

If not for having an unlikely handful of Baton Rouge superstars that weren't quite good enough to go pro from High School, he would've accomplished absolutely nothing at LSU. Stans has missed out on most of the true superstars that he's gone after and he's still had comparable success to Brady. Had Stans landed his guys, he most likely would've made more NCAA noise.

This would be a terrible hire. Please kick yourself in the nuts for having brought it up.

but just as awesome. seriously though...im not saying he should be canned but if he was, who could we actually get that would be better.

so don't worry about it. This same question "Who could we get that's better?" has been posed to c34 many a time and many a time c34 hasn't come up with jack **** as to who would be so much better. Some of the d'bags on here act like we're KU, UNC & Duke and we should be winning 30 games a season every single season. Greg will not fire Stans this year. The pressure will be on him to do well next year should we continue to play this same brand of ball the rest of this season, but Stans is going nowhere after this year. Most folks with a brain knew this would be a rebuilding year and now that we've lost a few pre-SEC games, the sky is falling. Typical sps meltdown. If we don't do well next season, then yes, I may jump off the bandwagon, but I am not going to over-react to one bad loss and demand our coach that's averaged 20+ wins a season be canned. That's just plain stupid.

To find someone better. But i'm willing to bet our AD can do it. Ricky will be coaching to keep his job next year. Count on it

to decide on whether Stansbury should be the coach or not. I am not sure why you can do the one, but not the other.

It is a message board, so hypothesizing on who the next coach should be is not only welcome, but encouraged. You had the time to look up our basketball schedules for the last half century, so time appears to be a commodity of which you appear to have an ample supply. Use Google and come up with a few names.
