Ok…..I’ll admit I don’t follow bball like I did thru the earlier Cal years. The shift to “Generational Wealth” from winning games cooled my enthusiasm. But I do understand that players are attracted to programs that place players in the NBA. Has Pope ever placed one of his players into a starting/major contributor role in the NBA? Seems to be a higher reason why he whiffs on recruits - especially younger ones that want to develop. Am I wrong? Thoughts?

Has Pope had the luxury of coaching anyone who legitimately had the talent and potential to reach that level? A coach can only do so much if you just are not of that caliber.
