If nothing else this wreck that is Husker football illustrates just how hard it is to get the right coach at the right place in CFB today. When Frost was hired 99% of us were giddy and sure he was the answer to our football woes. 99% of us were wrong. Had Moos hired anyone else at the time, he would have been run out of town on a rail and everyone w/out selective memory knows it. I still think NU can find the right man to lead us back to prominence…but it won’t be easy.

G5 coaches have not been successful at the P5 level for many years straight now. Gotta go current P5 head coach that has had success or a P5 coordinator.

Yes. Everyone was giddy with the Frost hire. He seemed to have it all. Hot upcoming coach. We needed a coach. We took a chance.

That's not good enough at any school. Let alone at Nebraska. It's year 4. Losing is losing. Time to cut bait.
