I got what FIG was saying and he's probably right even though it won't be a popular opinion

JWill is amazingggg and Dylan will be a freshman. It's not an insult to Dylan that JWill might have a better season than a freshman. JWill is just THAT good

The 2025 lottery pick will be our best guard but Williams takes us to a different level.

A core of Harper, Williams, Mag, Bailey, and possibly Cliff has Final Four potential

Honestly, Williams will be the most important player on the team next year - at least for the first half of the season. I just don't think Harper will be ready to run the team yet. Having Williams means we can legitimately compete for the B1G crown. Without him I think we're a disjointed mess in many games - even with both the Diaper Dandies and other talented frosh.

I also think that J Williams will be our leader for at least the first half of next season. He has two more years to play and he has already transferred three times. I am not even sure if the NCAA would allow him to transfer another time without losing one of the two remaining years. Just treasure the time that we have Jeremiah and please let's not hear talk of him leaving. I think he loves being here at Rutgers.

JWill is definitely a professional basketball player
He is the best player over 4 games I have ever seen at Rutgers I have been watching since 1980
No Rutgers player has ever had the Jordan like quality he brings to the Rac !
Add to it his impressive post game interview today Wow! Love this guy!

Love JWill. He said he loves Rutgers and dreamed of playing in the RAC growing up going to games here.

Steve Pikeill and the athletic department & university stuck their neck out for him by literally suing the NCAA. Could you imagine Rutgers of old ever having the cojones to do that. JWill is R guy

That said just bought his sweatshirt off the RU NIL store. Go support !

Some of you guys are just dumb. He already is a 2x transfer. So it’s either RU or Pros. If he he takes us on a magical run and plays into a 1st rd pick this year, so be it. But likely, he’s back for next year

Huh? There are no transfer limits anymore. A kid can now play for a different school each year.

If by some miraculous stroke of luck this season continues down the path we’re headed - the collectives need to ride the bandwagon and tap into the casual fan base while the story is fresh.

We need to come up with something very direct and non-committal like the $52 pledge thing to get Schiano back. Catchy slogan on a cheap tee shirt. Blast all over social media outlets. Click here to get your $40 tee shirt to help RU keep the parts it needs to make history next year 40-0 en route to a Natty.

We could win the championship - he's not playing himself into a 1st round pick.
Not sure where that idea is even coming from.

Lol yeah I think he made that part up.

JWill is heart of this team..I don't see him as the kind of guy who will go out to bid after Pike threw him a bone when programs like Illinois told him to get lost once the gambling whispers came out.

Honestly if he does, I think it will kill college basketball quite a bit for me.

The only way u can see Cliff coming back is if we can somehow pay him a meaningful sum.

J Will with Dylan, Ace and co. is going to be special. Young players, no matter how talented, will benefit from his experience, maturity and playmaking. They’ll all elevate each other.

JMike will be part of that backcourt too. He can be a lockdown defender. If his shooting improves some, with his speed, we will have a great rotation.

For sure. Retaining the guards we have would make for a terrific rotation at the 1-2 and sometimes the 3. In a perfect scenerio, Mag returns plays 20ish min at the 3 (as the starter) and then slides to the 4 to spell Ace. The 4 guards share the minutes at the 1-2 and one of them slides to the 3 for half a game. Not sure where the other new guards besides Dylan would fit in though.

Every player has a 1 year contract. The portal will become a joke because all players will be in it. If we weren't beneficiaries (so far) I'd be out.

I cant imagine being a fan of a mid major team.
