Years ago, I dated this red head. My god she was a looker. She was smart and funny, successful too.

We disagreed on everything. We fought 24/7. One day, she made breakfast and I told her I like eggs better over easy than scrambled. She lost it. She told me all I ever did was nitpick, and that I didn't deserve her.

It's easy to sit here and ask if I'd just eaten the damn eggs if we'd still be together, but...

That team had so many close calls and collapses. You can easily pick out several individual moments in time, and say if that ONE moment had gone differently. But it was a series of things.

At the end of the day, I don't think it matters where you put us with that group.
Give us more details about the red head, and post pics if you have good ones:sunglasses:

I can totally see why you drove her nuts enough to cut and run. lol.

I really don't think they are out to get us. I think it's about ratings and money. That is why we always seem to end up facing WVU, IU, UofL, etc. It's good for ratings. It gets more people to watch those 2nd round and Sweet Sixteen games. Cal vs. Huggins is hyped up. IU keeps crying that they don't get to play us. UofL is our biggest rival. Those are the big match ups that the Selection Committee just can't pass up.
Strange how they can't pass up our big match ups but stock Dukes bracket with nobody of note most years . You would think that there are some big time opportunities there but apparently there is no appeal to seeing Duke play in a challenging bracket . No ratings or money to be had there I guess .

Even in 12 when UK was the top seed they had IU in our bracket despite playing them in our only regular season loss , nullifies the argument that we play IU in the tournament because we don't play in the regular season . The NCAA is rife with corruption at every level , it's so obvious that it would take a good effort to not take notice . Maybe because they're so blatant about it that people can't accept it as corruption .

They would have been out in the Sweet 16 regardless. They looked awful against Indiana and Indiana wasn't even good.

So one more game and that's it.

something else to consider - probably quite minor and means nothing, but, here goes:
Humphries was really starting to play pretty well, gaining confidence- the A&M game was his best, of course, until the end.
I really believe that technical hurt his confidence to some degree; I think his play after that reflected it. His aggression was affected. If he hadn't been t'd up and continued to improve instead of taking a step back - would that have made a difference? I still maintain Lee could play well enough IF he had someone inside with him doing their job. I doubt, looking back, we'd have made a FF, but it might have given us another win in the tourney.
I know I know, probably silly, but something to think about
