for the first six games by the NCAA, can he still practice with the team or not? If he can't there goes his season meaning that he will only have a senior year to play since he had the transfer year. Wow that would be harsh. anyone?

I believe he would be considered a Redshirt Junior for 2017. So if he still had to sit out he would still have a Senior season, I believe, so correct. My concern would be having him practice with the team now and find out it was some kind of violation if he is not cleared.

However, I'd guess that this has been checked out with the NCAA by WVU Athletics Compliance.

I thought this situation was in the rear view mirror? If no Grier we aren't going anywhere unless we're sitting on another gamer.

I'm not ready to toll the bell of gloom and doom just yet but if the NCAA clowns fail to do the right thing and clear Grier to play. The Mountaineers offense will be less then adequate especially with a inexperienced O-Line.

Until official announcement is made I'll assume Grier is good-to-go with no restrictions.

My super early prediction stays at 8-9 wins this year not including Bowl.

If your O-Line does not perform, you can have Tom Brady as your quarterback and you will LOSE...and lose BIG.

If UNC can still win a National Championship, no ******* reason why Grier should not be cleared for accidentally taking an OTC supplement that was recently banned before him doing so.

UNC is a protected entity and we are not. Not a conspiracy theorist, it's just facts. NCAA has repeatedly stepped in the line of fire to protect golden goose schools

I completely agree with you about the NCAA protecting certain collegiate institutions. Also The NCAA waffles on important issues. They regularly flip flops on infractions and punishments. I have zero confidence or respect for the NCAA governing body.
