Allen wasn't the miss. Bamba wasnt even the miss. I seriously think if calipari knew that 1. Bamba wasn't coming and 2. Deandre ayton would be eligible, he would have recruited ayton full court press and landed him

I'd rather have a imminent roster filled with Bamba's friends - Green, Knox, Diallo - than one where Jarrett Allen's growth and development at Texas becomes more vital than that of Noel, Davis, Cousins, and Towns at Kentucky.

The premise of this thread is not convincing. Bamba wanted Shaka and doesn't mind losing if it means he can be a finesse 5 man. It's probably that simple.
