I used to buy it but never will again because of the irritating, resource-hogging banner at the bottom of each page. Please get rid of it.

I sent to the ad network again. I never got a reply on the first one and I forgot to follow up. Usually they respond in a few hours saying it will take 1-2 days to remove the ad out of their campaigns. My apologies.

Irish Spring ad should be removed in the next 45 minutes according to the ad network. I should have followed up the last time.

Speaking of horrible adds,

Does anybody ever go to chive? The adds on that site make it unbearable. I used to enjoy looking at the pics and stuff on there, but haven't been back in a while.

I do. I have no problem with the ads there or anywhere. Get chrome with ad blocker. Problem solved.

My bad

Correct. The combo is an easy fix to ads.

I should have clarified. I mean on my iPhone. Thought maybe it was a setting or something, but it doesn't do it, at least to that extent, on other websites. This site for instance never has ad problems for me.

One particularly bad one on chive is a banner across the bottom. Typical banners are at the very bottom. This one is the same size as the rest, but is about a half inch off the bottom. So it's basically in the middle of the bottom third of the screen. Pisses me off. Any fix for that type of nonsense?

Thanks, dawgstudent. I should have mentioned in my original post that the issue was when viewing SixPack on my phone or iPad. I have ad blockers on my laptop so no big deal there.

Thanks for checking in on it.

Irish Spring still there. It's been on here for a month straight now. They owe you a new TV DS.

I sent it to the other ad network we use. On a PC - I can tell where the ad is coming from. On a tablet - I can't so it's multiple choice so I started with the main one first.

The main one might have had it in it's campaign for SixPack but it could be coming from the other ad network as well.

I apologize for the troubles. I use a PC and my iPhone to view sixpack. PC - I use the main view and the ad never appeared. On my iPhone - I use the mobile view so I never saw the ad until someone pointed it out.

The irritating POS Irish spring ad is still on iPad. Please email me when it's gone so I can come back. SixPack is virtually unusable on iPad until it is gone. One poster does not a bulletin board make but you can have me or you can have Irish spring; not both.

I've sent 4 emails about it.

It doesn't happen on PC or a phone browser.

For the time being, you can go to the bottom left of the page and choose the mobile view to get around it.
