After his constant dancing behind the line and acting like a whirling dervish against CU, I said it would take him at least a year before he got rid of those habits and contributed in a positive manner. He's picked up his game quite a bit since that first contest. Good on him...good on the coaches...good on the oline.

I thought he should redshirt based on lack of size.

Wait till this kid gets another 15-20lb of muscle.

Holy moly!

To be sure, he's not all that he can be yet. He definitely looked like a freshmen early on. If he can avoid injuries, he'll be a Sunday guy.

While true, at least Bob came in and admitted he was wrong. Unlike another poster who had to be cajoled before he would admit he may have jumped the gun about Martinez.
Why are you such a dick? I gave in to your wishes and admitted he’s playing better.

Remember when Hoosker thought Greg Bell was faster than the speed of light and 'Space Cowboy' was the worst running back in the history of the program?

Probably because you were adamant for several weeks how much he sucked and then when multiple posters called you on it you simply ignored it, hoping it would go away. But it was such a bad take that multiple people called you out. Multiple.

Bob came in and owned up ON HIS OWN. You were called out numerous times and were a no-show. When you finally showed your face again it was in the hopes that no one would bring it up.

Man up, then all is forgotten. Totally ignore and hope people don’t remember it was you, then don’t be surprised that posters call you out when you finally show up again.

Sorry to hurt your feelings, but that’s why I am being such a dick.

I’ve said it in a few other posts about him that the guy does not like to be tackled. Different than ‘tough to bring down’. It’s hard to explain but hilarious when you watch it.

In his hs film he was tough to bring down. He hasn't shown much of that yet, but hopefully as he gains some weight and strength, that attitude pays off. A lot of times attitude is more important than physical ability. If you have the attitude that you're not going to go down, you're going to be tough to bring down, even if the other guy is bigger than you.

What is going to make him great is his sheer determination. There was a video done awhile back where he talks about losing his dad and how important it is for him to make his dad proud. Watching that, one begins to realize that being a great running back is a MUST for him, and this kind of internal determination is why he will achieve it.

I only cringe a little because I think he will get hurt. Mo just doesn't want to go down.
