My son was actually off work and he was still in pre-Mike Leach mode and could not believe who actually had wide receivers that could catch the ball.

I feel better about the Air Raid than I have at any point the last two years. We’re not quite there yet but we’ve come a long way. Definitely feels like it’s starting to work.

Rodgers gave us more than a chance in the last 22 secs to tie and go into OT. Hell of a job by Will.

Absolutely. We have the QB and the WR to compete. I continue to be disappointed in the OL penalties, and no one on our Special Teams would argue that we have to improve there to take the next step.

Moved the ball from the 25 to get in fg position in a little over 25 seconds.

I never, at any point, thought we were going to lose this game. My confidence got shaken when Arkansas took back the lead, but I still thought we would win.

I thought we were great until that PL level flop inside 5 yds for a defensive holding by the guy who threw a punch for no ejection or penalty. If it had been our guy they would have sent him to the electric chair.

Great job by the offense after they woke up. Defense let us down not being able to sack Jefferson. And will did great to lead us down the field to tie. Kickers **** the bed

Even if we keep shitting the bed this season, if they keep improving like they have, I’ll be happy for the future. Improvement is all we’ve been begging for so Leach can get his guys in there. He’s proving his system can work with the right pieces. For that I am grateful.

What I’ve seen the last 2 games is more of a balanced offense. Don’t know if Leach will continue to run the ball but obviously by running the ball more it’s improved the overall offensive performance which takes some of the pressure off of Will where he doesn’t ha e to throw 60 passes a game. The last 2 games have shown how this team can play (even with the loss) if they run a more balanced attack which’s will keep defenses more honest. Hopefully it will continue but you never know with Leach.

Yep! If that would have been our guy, he would have been ejected immediately, probably suspended next week and articles would be written saying that he should go to some anger management classes.

Did anyone else notice the announcers saying there should be multiple flags thrown but once they saw that it was the UPIG superstar who threw punches on the replay, they immediately changed their tune and said the refs did right by just letting them play on?

Balance is what I’ve been asking for since last year and we’ve done it and it’s helped the offense tremendously

There has to at least be a threat of it and in the first 12+ games the threat wasn't there. It's been there a bit more lately and, paired with Will becoming more confident throwing downfield, we're seeing more production.

I think it is indicative of how we are learning this offense. Will knew exactly what to do and where to throw the ball. We are getting more practice reps and more comfortable. Excited about the future.
