Out of frustration and chest pains I turned the UK/WVU game off before halftime.

14 text messages later I turn the game back on and watched UK come all the way back and WIN!!

I can't recall the last game I stopped watching, but it won't happen again.

Love you, BBN!! Thanks for the keeping the faith when I momentarily lost it.

We understand. This has been a very frustrating year. Maybe this comeback will be the turning point of the season. I hope this is the Kevin Knox we see the rest of the year.

Things like this happen when you don't give up, the players never did, you could see it in their faces. This couldn't have happened at a better time.

I think a very large percentage of the base would have been done with this season if this game had kept going like it was. Almost none of us saw this coming, and these kids grew up right in front of our eyes. Frustration is understandable, but some people need to seriously stop posting when they are so pissed off. That's what I learned to do a while back.

Don't apologize, it's called passion. I HAD to turn the game off. I was hurting bad. I have no heart issues I know of and get checked regularly but I hurt bad. I take this stuff too deeply. I always will but I did about the same thing you did. I turned it on at half time though and stuck around. be Good

I remember friends telling me they turned the LSU game off when we came back from a 31 point deficit only to win. It happens if you don't give in.

I have not wavered. Doesn't mean much, I'm diehard and fully believe that if I don't act this way I will play a part in the loss. Yes, I'm super freak in' weird
3 of my friends' text messages said, "We're UP by 4. Turn the game back on!!!" I turned on the game and WVU hit two 3-pters. I changed my shirt. [laughing] I'm weird too.

My dad left the house on a date at halftime of that game. I had just came home from work, and he was MAD!!!

I watched the game by myself and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Dad walked in after the game... oblivious to the outcome. I told him what happened and his jaw dropped.

His new girlfriend said, "Don't worry. It's JUST a game."

He broke up with her after that. :joy::joy::joy:

Happens to the best of us but I normally just sit there and take my beating. After the LSU comeback I don’t ever give up hope

LMAO. I was on the plane when UK went down 15 then checked the score and saw UK up 4 but truly thought it was a mistake and I read the ticket wrong, turned it back on right when the WV player hit the firstbof his two threes

I'm at work. Couldn't watch. Tried to listen on radio. Quit at halftime because of rage issues.

Couldn't believe it when my very happy (and slightly drunk) 73-year-old father called me hootin' and hollerin' about the win.

OK, don't do it again. I kid. I usually wait a little longer before turning it off. But I do know better. Once I listened to Cawood call the last 6 secs of a game at Rupp down to Kansas by 6. UK won. There was no 3 pt shot then.

Look, the dude that said we were going to win at halftime, well I laughed at him, as did every other fan did. I guarantee he didn’t believe it either, let’s just focus on being excited for the win. We’re all fans, we have different mindsets and emotions, But we’re still all Ky fans.

I did. Fortunately I left the VCR running. I was stunned when I found out they won. Bet Dale Brown lost some serious sleep over that loss.

I was so pissed I left and went to McDonalds. Then had to drive like a damn banshee to get back home to see one hell of an exciting last ten minutes. Finally saw some grit and fight from this team. One hell of an effort in second half.

we have all been there. I almost did the same thing, but I hung in there, and was in complete shock the second half. I was wondering if somebody had kidnapped our players and replaced them. Totally differnet team second half

It was a school night and mom put us to bed only to come in later screaming we won. Sucks but I've got the video about it called Mardi Gras miracle.

No need OP. Any true UK fan has done similar. When we were losing badly to Duke in the ‘98 regional final I went for a bike ride. As I was coming back into my neighborhood I heard a UK fan screaming in joy (yea there are a few of us here) and returned just in time to see Padgett and Mills hit those shots we’ll never forget.
