I don't think Davis played ball. He sounded pretty ignorant.
The studio never trust Rutgers to be a consistence winner. But this year, we are putting a fear in the B1G. Now recruits are playing attention, we are a big pain in their side.
Love how Bardo compares this team with his '89 Illini team. That team had 5 NBA players between 6'5" and 6'8". A good template that won 31 games.
Revsine is a poor play by play guy but I think he's the best studio guy without making it all about him

Davis was really terrible last night. Almost disappointed that Purdue couldn’t take the lead at the end. And then snarky in the postgame interviews. And his dumb banter during the game felt like I was watching an espn broadcast.

Davis was brutal last night. Just not a good commentator. Painful to listen to. The flop/flagrant discussion demonstrated his lack of experience.
Exactly right! Felt like an ESPN announcer that felt the need to banter to be “entertaining” rather than just provide insightful commentary.
