NU-Florida and Michigan-Tennessee probably would have been more fun for all parties. Instead Orlando chose 9-3 Michigan over 10-2 Northwestern, and you can't argue with it since that game sold out faster than any other bowl game, but the result was two crappy games that the regular fan lost interest in shortly after halftime.

I said the same thing 3 weeks ago.

But, everyone can argue with it since Tennessee-Michigan would have sold out too. The weak link was Northwestern.

Everyone knew Tennessee and Michigan was going to win their matchups. I put the blame on the bowl committees.

Yes I think so too. I also think that would have put the SEC 2-0 in that situation as opposed to it being 1-1 now just due to the matchups, but you never know it may have been the opposite.

Actually, the Citrus Bowl wanted UT and Michigan, but the SEC has final say so on bowl pairing and would not allow. Didn't think it would be fair to UF. Glad UF beat badly. Most Vols fans feel this way. During the game UT Fans were chanting SEC, SEC and then cheered loudly when the UF score was announced.

Just saying that the games would have been better both ways. Tennessee-Michigan would have been a fun one. The Wolverines can play, and like the Vols, are only getting better. And as big of an *** as he is, Harbaugh's a hell of a coach, especially when he has over three weeks to prepare.

But here we are. Good win by the Vols today.

When Michigan is "on" they would beat UT which would have been the case today.

Lol....you lose by 40 then say that

?? I wasn't talking about our team I was talking about Michigan. Their athletes are every bit as big and fast as yours, if that's the reason you think they couldn't beat UT's SEC speed.

If you guys are so confident that you are dominant over every B1G team I don't understand why UT wouldn't have tried to move to the B1G during our expansions. Your last SEC title was even before our last B1G title.

UT played and executed very, very well today after the first quarter. Our passing offense is awful, bad enough to negate a good running game and also bring our great D down due to 3 and outs, INTs, losing field position from coverage sacks, etc. UT won big and deserved it.

Today was way more than yOU playing badly, or us playing really well....we would beat yall 9 out of 10 times. There wasn't a single NW player who was better than his UT counterpart.
