I know that's easy to say now but at the time he struck out the first batter and then gave up a hit. I would have rather taken my chances and try to get at least two more innings out of him. That home-run to make it 6-0 sealed the deal. We didn't play great ball today but I think we have a good shot at beating ULL and then we take it one game at a time. We are still playing baseball and it's late June so it could be a lot worse...

We pulled Plumlee and the game was over in no time. We have nothing consistent beyond Small and Plumlee, and I didn’t understand the call.

This was 1985-Gene-Morgan-management if you ask me. I’m surprised the outrage hasn’t been as thick on this board about this. This was a historic collapse brought on by our coaching staff.

The coaches know what they are looking for.

they have Keys to what is going on.

Yes, it's a crap shoot.

But they did what they thought was best, and they were probably right.

They know what these guys can do, you do not!

The coaches must see something in Barlow that nobody else sees.... Plumlee didn’t have a 3rd pitch... to me you had to treat this game as the championship game, I would have brought in White.

Well the issue is that when you go from Plumlee to Self you are moving to a much less dependable option. Self can be OK at times and other times can get bombed like he did today.
