So yesterday you believed the earth was warming but today you don't??

I have posted repeatedly that the earth has warmed slightly since coming out of the little Ice Age in the mid-1800s. It's called natural variability. Now, over the last 18 years it has not warmed based on satellite data and weather balloon measurements.

The question of the slight warming that has occurred is what is man's role if any? That is what Judith Curry was pointing toward. A corollary question could be why were all the climate models wrong in predicting ever increasing temperatures as even the IPCC admitted? And why has the warming stopped in the last 18 years even though CO2 levels continue to rise?

Section 1 is titled "Climate Change" is less frightening than "global warming." and states: As one focus group participant noted, climate change "sounds like you're going from Pittsburgh to Fort Lauderdale." While global warming hs caastrophic connotations attached to it..."

You may be right that that was Lunz's suggestion. However much of the conservative media that I watch and read still use the term global warming.
