I spent a little time these past two weeks

Opining that McLeod should’ve been benched. If this is what we are going to get from him on Fridays, we will win a lot of openers. An absolutely superb outing.

[Xenomorph]

It doesn't get much better than what he gave tonight.

I believe 2 of the four hits he gave up were against the shift. He even got squeezed a little against rightys tonight too. Just beautiful all the way around.

You could tell he was figuring it out in that opening frame, but damn. When he got rolling you could see the look on his face was almost like walking through the park. Bodes well.

Exactly what you want out of your Friday night guy

He's just a pitcher. Location, change of speed, nothing overpowering, but everything uncomfortable. My favorite kind of ballplayer.

Give me a pitcher like MacLeod, a fielder like Forsythe, and a batter like Hancock (16 BB, 5 HR, & 4 SO for the season) and I take them all day over some of the more 5 tool types..

Getting awful 17ing woolly gents.

McLeods performance tonight changed my overall tune a little too. If we are going to have McLeod, Smith, Sims, Bednar, Harding, Stinnett, and Fristoe consistently perform to their talent levels, we are going to win a lot of weekend series.

If we get Cerantola’ slight to come on, we might be the favorites.

[Dawgcap]

Cerantola figures it out.

He’s a really talented dude. Our staff is ridiculous.
