There are plenty of candidates available ... and if we need to hire ... I will be back here 10 days after the game on Saturday explaining to you why UCF is still going to be better than Nebraska in 3 years.

Ok because just last year Nebraska was better than you guys so keep telling yourself that you will only get better, while Nebraska will only get worse. Its like you guys forgot that just two years ago you were 0-12.

Was over on UCF msg board. Looks like they are starting to see the writing on the wall, that Frost is leaving. They are getting mad that he is "dicking" them around and not giving them an answer one way or another.
I can see their point. If he is going to be gone might as well let everyone know and let them start the process of finding a new coach. With so many vacancies, coaching candidates are going fast. Their options are even more limited. Him not giving a decision is hurting their recruiting just like ours. I understand wanting to keep his players focused, but everyone in the country knows what is coming at this point might as well make it official for all sides involved and get the process started.

I'll be honest, at the time UCF hired him, I thought he had gotten a better job than he deserved. He proved me wrong though.

I have nothing against, UCF, but UCF fans are not living in reality. With all due respect, Frost is too good for UCF. UCF needs a coach that's going to build the program over a long period of time. Frost was successful there too fast, and it's just a matter of time before he leaves.

As far as not telling the players and fans what is going on, the silence is deafening. There's no doubt in my mind he's leaving, otherwise he would have told the fans, media, players, etc. he's staying. I don't think he could handle it much better than he has. If he would have said he was leaving already, UCF fans would have bitched about that. It's samned if you do, samned if you don't.

37 of their fans are mad because he hasn't announced. The other half of the fan base would be mad if he did. The players know it doesn't matter right now if he stays or goes because they have a championship to play for. They can be sad next week. The fans can be butt hurt all they want. The kids are in good hands
