I Say This Every Week....

it is hell being a State fan. Have been one now 30+ years and every once in a blue moon we have a season like last year; every now and then we even have back to back good years; however, for the most part, it is a season rated F....frustration. There is indeed a fine line between winning and losing and we almost never make a play or two that would label us Winners. I used to let it ruin my entire week; as I got older it would ruin my entire weekend....of course I was at every game. Now that I am "old" it bothers me for about an hour after the game....then it all goes away.....and I just turn off the tv and go wash my car. It will be an awesome thing when I get really old...if I am in good enough health to still have a good enough mind to know we lose a game, it probably will not be good enough to help me remember we lost. Maybe that is why the later years are called "the golden years"! Bury me in maroon and white but please wait until I am dead.
