I just happened to tune in and he has a caller, sounds like a Bama fan, that claims it’s time to fire Saban and bring in Dabo.

Nick from Florida played it quite well if he was trolling.

Finebum went on his rant against Leach and the kicker situation at the instigation of some idiot from Minnesota. I suspect that was a setup call that PF paid for.

I use to listen to Firebaugh but I just can not listen to some of those moron callers. Im a country boy out in the sticks but for the love of God some of these guys must have a shtick. Calling in and arguing. Insane. Beyond me why you would make a fool out of yourself on radio like that

Obviously many Finebaum calls are staged, the regular callers don't necessarily get paid, but a producer calls them and will bring them on to make a certain point.

A guy from Jackson who used to call the Jxn shows and Jox shows was offered a spot as a regular when Finebaum was on Jox.

PF show is definitely staged. Two things of note over the years is that he knows how to get an audience, and he does have inside info on potential coaching hirings and firings. Another thing that makes three is that he knows how to get under the skin of any fanbase that he decides to attack. Other than that, he dosn't know a damn thing about the game of football, even less than I do. He's all about PF at the end of the day.

Legend (in his own mind) is a total *** kisser.

Several others, that don't talk about sports, but, each other.

Some of it is a real joke.

If he did not have some decent guest, in the know, would not be worth watching.

I don't watch regularly, but it seems that if it's a slow day, magically Legend or Jim from Tuscaloosa calls in and goes on a rant that stirs up the listeners who then light up the phone lines. PF particularly hates us. He goes out of his way to throw shade on us, but never hesitates to have one of our coaches or administrators on when the rare occasion arises. Were I Cohenz, the entire MSU athletic dept. would be off-limits to Finebum. Of course, PF would deride us unmercifully for such an action, but who cares? Best publicity we could get.

CD don't start with "I never watch .... but". Seems a lot of us must at least "occasionally" but appreciate why you wouldn't admit it. I know I don't but I will admit to "occasionally" wandering in on Monday or other big news days just to see how ridiculous it gets and sure enough, confirm why I normally don't. Yes I heard the Bama nut case (an alumnus and "former athlete" to boot, was that the troll clue?) as well the rant on Leach and sure enough .... note to self, keep it to the occasional. He is a grade A **** disturber and an originator of hot takes to perfect the art of viewers/clicks/likes, etc. A newly minted ESPN PC mouth piece that doesn't believe a word he says but you know what, he's laughing all the way to the bank.

“Never” seems appropriate for me. I never watch him because of his bias. He’s a prick. Just happened to be off yesterday and was trying to help my in-laws fix their TV/soundbar audio sync issues. He was the first channel I found that had someone speaking constantly. Didn’t figure that was relevant to the post but since you deemed it to be, figured I’d clarify. Have a nice day.
