ALL OF YOU NEGATIVE FAIRWEATHER FANS WHO ARE QUICKER TO BASH THAN SUPPORT ARE THE REASON FOR WHAT’S ABOUT TO HAPPEN, and I thank you. I’ve watched yesterday’s game now about 4 times and my favorite sequence of the entire game is the and-1 on Castleton by Isaiah. Go back and watch that sequence I can’t remember the last time I seen Cal that damn happy over a bucket. He damn near jumped out his suit he couldn’t hide his emotion. The whole sideline erupted. Bruiser, Terrence, everybody, look at Rob!
I’ve played football, basketball, and baseball my entire life since I basically could walk, played in a 1,000 games up to college. I know FAMILY when I see it. That’s not a team that’s a family. And you guys brought them closer. All the bashing of the players, the coaches, the program, the kids talents, BOOS. They hear that is 2021 they hear EVERYTHING. So now they’re playing for themselves and Keion was that extra jolt of life and you can see it. It’s infectious, I can feel it, I got emotional watching it because I know what’s about to happen. I love EVERY UK fan but a lot of us really don’t appreciate what we have. Buckle up people it’s about to get real now!

The issue isn’t bashing players for any reason other than performance. And these kids are progressing how they should be. However, they came in touted as some of the best in the country and have underachieved by every measurable standard. Now they are progressing. That is what should happen. The real test will be end of the season. Will everyone jump ship even though only 1 or 2 are projected in the forest round? Or will they stay and develop and increase stock for next year? I honestly believe that is the biggest reason for everyone to be over the calipari experience.

But feel free to get up on your high horse and condemn each and every fan you don’t agree with. Seems to be he norm for everything else these days.

We have a 3-6 team that is improving each game. Nothing more. If Cal would have played Allen earlier in the year we would be at 7-2 and looking at 2/3 seed...instead we have to be near perfect every remaining game in order to sneak in tourney.

That isn't necessarily true. Sorry. Allen has improved significantly. He got 8 minutes against Kansas and then had 3 turnovers in 4 minutes vs. GA Tech.

Allen got better. So did Askew and Sarr and Ware. Most of them have improved. Mintz has been the only consistent with Jackson's blocked shots...that's it.

Using Allen as the reason we lost some of these games is just an excuse. We just stunk a few weeks back and have improved.

people just make snap/emotional decisions. everyone knew the team had potential. a lot overlooked the shorter off season/less development/cohesive time than normal. it is really annoying to see fans flip and the level to which they tend to go with bashing players, but thats the world we live in with internet tough guys behind a screen.

With that said, Cal did a poor coaching job to start the year. hopefully we maintain our current win streak

also, anyone else having issues using Rivals on mobile? refuses to load or sign in so i havent been posting since i rarely use my laptop.

Had the same problem. It randomly logged me out on mobile and the sign in page is pretty clearly bugged. I tried restarting my phone and everything. It’s pretty clear it’s an issue with the site.

I entered my stuff in enough to get it to remember my info and entered it as soon as the page started loading and that worked. If you let it get to where it tries to reload itself over and over it’s too late. Hope this helps

Allen looked like a deer in the headlights early in the year. Covid caused the rough start nothing more nothing less.

The main issue is our fans have been spoiled. Most hear the word 5 star and believe they will step in first day and be john wall. It takes time to teach most 18 year olds. Cal never stops believing that what they are working on will happen. Regardless of losing streaks. That's the dif in being a great coach and a disgruntled fan.
There's not a coach in the country that can take 8 new players and get them to a refined product in 3 months like coach cal. Might I add farther along than most do in 3-4 years. Record in tournament proves it

You don’t know that. While I agree that Allen probably could have contributed earlier, your speculation is just that, speculation.

Such a bad take . So entirely wrong and backwards , and in line with the thinking of many today , somehow what they do is what they claim to despise ... and when called out , dent it fiercely and call names
4-6 and he acts as it we are over the hump. Long way to go. We took a few steps in the right direction but, other teams are improving too.

If a few steps in the right direction is a win by 18 at Florida. What do you want to see? If we beat bama at home. We will be alone in first place. (Not counting South Carolina). That’s a pretty big deal too 4 games in.

I would argue that the people who are up or down simply by whether we've won the last game are the fairweather fans.

Those that actually care about the program as a whole are far from fairweather.
Won the last 3. If you can’t see improvement since Mississippi state. I don’t know what to say. I don’t think it’s just the Florida game. We handled a team easily yesterday. And we haven’t did that to anyone since our first game. Bama is the ultimate test to see where this team is at. Kentucky wins that game look out. Bama won at Tennessee and has wins against Florida and auburn. Should be a good game.

That's not the point. I was talking in general terms and not specific to our current situation.

Are you saying that fans helped get this team to where it needed to be? Took over from Cal and pushed them to their best limits? Forced Cal and them out of their comfort zone to become a closer unit and accordingly a better team?

Thanks- all in a days work as BBN.
Absolutely regardless of how it came about I guess🤷🏾‍♂️

lol you did was defer and I see excuses for disrespect of players and a HOF coach who SHOULD have at least earned the patience of fans through turbulent times. That is what life is at the end of the day, ups and downs.
