I fully took this loss in stride. No need to have my emotional state be governed by a bunch of 18-22 year old guys.
Kids got gassed in the second. I assume they were pretty keyed up before the game and the defense played a lot in the first half. Hotter than average in Boulder for early September.
Frost took the pedal off of the gas in the second half, but also the Buffs D played with much more verve. And if I'm coaching in OT, AMart is pulling the ball on running on that first play. I might have even gone empty set and run a QB draw.
If NU plays like they did in the first half, they will still win a lot of games. If they play like they did in the second, it will look like last year's record.

Speaking of gassed, any one have an idea what cu players were taking before their Gatorade? It was in a black packet. Assume it's a powder of some kind.

Also assuming schenault took an injection at halftime in his shoulder. It was definitely wearing off midway through the 4th qtr. He was definitely feeling no pain in the third. Not complaining just an observation
