No, they certainly don't. College athletics aren't professional sports. Colleges, and everything they entail, exist to further the careers of their students. Winning is a priority, but it's not the main priority. The students come first. Period.

You continue to talk out of both sides of your mouth. You say it should be about the kids, but winning is the main goal. When you say that, that means there are certain situations you prioritize winning over the students' best interests, whenever they conflict. That's an absurd statement.

And I say that the idea that college sports "exist to further the careers of their students..." is absurd and not true.

I agree. It wasn't game planning or motivation. Murray just couldn't hit shots and the bigs didn't produce. It happens.

Again I am agreeing with your analysis of he game. However you are not giving Indiana any credit. They out played the Cats in nearly every phase of the game. There are always reasons why a player is not hitting his shots, in this case it was the defense played by Indiana. Ulis, Murray, and Willis did not get the usual wide open shots. Poythress missed several close-in shots because of being closely guarded.

I've seen just about every excuse used except they were playing Indiana, and it was mostly their defense and our lack of defense. They played on a neutral floor, The refs were unknown for the most part, You can't use the lack of motivation excuse when you are playing one of your biggest rivals in the NCAA tourney..

So why not tell it like it is and encourage our staff to play Indiana every year -home and home. Its a game where fans can travel to the games. The best games of the year were our last 3-4 games except this one.. I don't like to lose any game, but lets give credit to someone other than the refs, NCAA, SEC, selection committee, media, or some far fetched conspiracy theory for a change. In this case its Indiana.

You three dont have to apologize to me for the BS posts you made but I think it is important that everyone see just what kind of people you are.

Edit...I accidentally deleted my hosting page for the screenshots and I have no desire to repost them tonight but I can.

Brian, for someone who says he served in the military, then grow up. You have a habit of bad-mouthing a lot of the posters. As far as afraid, I doubt if anyone on here is afraid of you, me or anyone else who posts.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

Summary

@willievic - You jumped my *** for scolding @UKWinsAgainYep who called our players and staff miserable names all football season and started over here after a loss.

You even implied that where you come from I would be "hurt" (as a former boxer and Gulf War vet I'll take my chances to go wherever you are from)

Nothing else between us, of course you do tell everyone that you are such a massive donor to UK way too often...

You do seem to receive many likes from Cutnets...

@Icecoldbrewdoggy

Never called you a UL fan, found several posts that I agreed and liked your take.

You did get mad at me for calling you out on the KSR Katina interview thread. You went on a rant against everyone regarding how we were all sinners for wanting to listen to the interview.

You stated that it is was despicable for MJ to be the only one low enough give her an interview, yet you were unaware she had already been on ESPN, The View, Good Morning America, and more previously.

All i stated was that your morals do not relate to everyone else and you were wrong for shaming our posters for wanting to hear it.

@BBBLazing

Found multiple instances where I said "Great Post" and gave you many likes.

You guys want to see them, I will repost, but your accusations were wrong.

BBB and willie maybe its time to hang it up if you cant remember who treated you poorly...

Icecold not sure what to tell you,

Brian, I'll make you a deal, I won't respond to any of your posts, and you don't respond to any of mine. That way we won't be down each other's throat.

After looking at our post history, I never went down your throat but I found a couple times you attacked me for arguing with known trolls. Never directly at you. I have these if you want to see them.

Do what you want to do, but you were wrong for your remarks.

I am not a child, I will respond when I want to. You are 77 you do what you think is right.
