It was a super regional. They hosted the regional last year and would have hosted the super, but the Special Olympics were in town that weekend and they couldn't schedule around it.

no they can host. They had the special olympics in town last year and didnt have the resources to host the supers.

They can host.. and will.

The only thing I don’t like about this projection is going to College Station in a potential Super Regional. They are 32-3 at home. We are one of those losses.

Last thing I’m concerned about is a super regional matchup. If we get there, that’s a win. And if we do, any of the top 8 would be a tough matchup, but potentially winnable. On our good days, we can beat anybody. On our bad ones we can lose to most anybody (certainly anybody that makes the tournament).

For whatever reason I think we end up in Stillwater with them being the 15 or 16 and us being one of the highest ranked two seeds.

That would be a tough draw for Georgia. Wake as the 2 seed and a heavy hitting Austin Peay as the 4. Would be a shame if Wes Johnson didn’t advance.
