Someone on here, forgot who it was at the moment, mentioned this exact scenario playing out. He even doubled down and went all in when Evan Daniels changed his pick to Washington. Depending on how you look at it, it could make sense.

That could be true, but didn't McDaniels tell Evan Daniels that he didn't sign a LOI after those rumors were swirling? Then again, that could be a cover-up for your theory. I really have no idea.
