I agree, they don't need any extra help from the refs but they seem to get it at times anyway.
Referees are human and imperfect. That's why replays are becoming part of every major sport. But if you really believe referees are conspiring to protect Kansas, we hear the same kind of rumors all the time here about Duke. Kansas and Duke fans say referees are favoring Kentucky.

Nah we don't say that. Also I heard this stuff about a Kentucky blowout against big-name opponent before. It was before UCLA...

I think Kentucky wins the game and it will be a close game. We owe them and it's a home game and we need the win to keep building the momentum to get a number one seed. Remember last year, we had them beat and just run out of time.[winking]

And all I heard was how great your Duke team was. What a total joke that was.
Doesn't make UK fans dismissing a KU team which has played better competition and has a better record than you guys any less puzzling. As for Duke, we have been here before. 2014-2015, back to back horrible losses against Miami and NC State. Of course, at the end of the year we had #5 and you were supplying kids in Africa with free 40-0 shirts

According to RPI UK SOS is 15 while the Chokehawks is 30. Thanks for playing though.

Just because your Trippers have lost two straight and 3 of 5 don't give you the right to vent your BS on your Daddy's board.

You are currently 2-3 in tha ACC and in 9th place.

Better focus or you might miss the dance.

Go check on K.

I agree with your description of last year's game. But both Kentucky and Kansas are different teams this year. We have the home court advantage this time, but that didn't save us against UCLA. Kansas is legit, and their perimeter players will be competitive with ours. People trashing Kansas here are ignorant or in denial. Kentucky has elite strengths, but we don't defend very well and we have already lost 2 games at the free throw line. To beat Kansas, we have to elevate our game in several areas including perimeter defense and shot selection. We can win the game, but it will require an effort at least as strong as we produced against UNC.

We lol- like you have any connection to the school. You're a bandwagon bit like the other 99% of your fanbase.

Can't wait for the next injury/controversy! Y'all have been fun to watch this year. :joy:

RPI is imperfect, that's why NCAA is replacing it, they have been consulting Sagarin and Kenpom and all those other stats experts. I mean Gonzaga's SOS is 50 spots lower than UCLA's despite UCLA's win over UK being far more impressive than anything Gonzaga's done. Kentucky owns Duke? Hardly. It's 12-9 in you guys' favor, majority of your wins coming in 30's and 50's. K is fine I guess, seeing that he has as many titles as Cal and Rupp combined

8 much better than 5

5 coaches with titles much better than 1.

We will beat KU by 15...our guards will torch them.

Not arguing we beat them by 15. However to say our guards will torch them is unrealistic when they have guards just as good. I would believe more that we torch them on the inside since they have no interior sans Lucas. Out rebounding and put backs is what will torch them.

As I tell Kansas fans every year- if you're so great, show it in March. Maybe play to seed more than once a decade.

This happens every year. Their veteran squad gets fat on an overrated league and dishonest home whistle, then sure enough, fails to play to seed in March.

I've watched Kansas plenty this year and they look overrated as hell to me.

The blatant walk that was overlooked last week and the 47-14 free throw gap yesterday is hard to dismiss as simply human error, one would think that folks who call games at this level are better than that,I officiated football for many years and missed my share of calls to be sure but KU seems to get the benefit of the whistle more than just about any other team we see on t.v. It happens on a regular basis, ask Okla,Iowa St or UK from last year.

Yeah, 8 is better than 5. We also won ALL of our titles in a 64 team field, which is a little harder, don't you think?

Why? Titles are titles. I don't see UCLA getting any crap over this.

Yeah that loss hurt, just like 1998 loss hurt too. Of course there is also 1992 Elite Eight...

I would also point to last year's game with Oklahoma, where Mason clearly was out of bounds when he deflected the inbounds pass and then was the first person to touch and take possession. I believe OU had the chance to take the lead in the waning seconds when that happened.

They have an amazing backcourt and a very, very depleted and spotty at best frontcourt. They play a team like UNCheats, and their bigs (all TWO of them) get destroyed.

If Bam can stay out of foul trouble we will be fine.
That will be our mantra the rest of the season as for the most part...minus LSU and Missouri our schedule amps up.

There were several calls in the OU game that were questionable as I recall, there were probably other games as well but OU,Iowa St and our game came to mind.

Ah the same approach UNCheat fans take when attacking us. Point to our success in the past, which neither they nor you have. Continued success across multiple decades and a handful of coaches is a brilliant thing to attack.

Referees r paid to protect KU. That is a fact. There can be no other explanation. The Rock Walk that happened last week could not have happened anywhere else. How could 3 officials not call that is criminal. The big 12 did nothing because they r complicit. OSU got beaten by the biased refs yesterday. Each team attacked in a similar way while KU even took more 3's. But the refs called 30 fouls on OSU, while only 14 on the corrupt chicken squawks, in a game where KU was playing from behind. The funny thing, is that KU gets the same whistle, maybe not to the same degree, on the road. Self's home record & conference championship streaks r total fakes. The media keeps fawning over this fraudulent coach & team. It is sickening to see them consistently get outplayed & get the win in the end because of the terrible one-sided officiating.

He wasn't out of bounds and there is no rule in the rule book that states a 3 foot spacing is required on the inbounds. Completely legal play.

We lost 2 games at the line? That's rich. UCLA hung 97 on us. We didn't lose that at the line. We shot 66.7% in that game and 65.5 in the UL game. We shot 53% yesterday and won by 20. FTs are one aspect of a game and very seldom is it the ONE factor you can say lost the game.

Call it whatever you want. It isn't about the box score. It's about performing when the game is on the line. That's what championship caliber teams do. If we had hit our free throws down the stretch, we would have won both games. If you don't think so, then watch the last 10 minutes of both games again.

He deflected the ball, and when he landed his right foot was out of bounds. You can't be the first person to touch the ball in the situation. And I didn't even say anything about the spacing issue. But now that you mention it, refs are constantly pushing players back to give the player room. Not so there. Mason was practically in his pocket and the ref did nothing. Wonder why.

Again- "we" :joy::joy::joy:.

Secondly, no it wasn't harder. There was still one champion pre -64. You just skipped the easier early round games and got right into the biggies.

This is typical with bandwagon fanbases. I feel like I always have to lecture.

Ok St would be the 4th best team in the SEC behind UK UF and USC.

No, that's not what he's saying at all. I would think a blowhard like you who posts like he's smarter than everyone else could figure that out.

Kansas benefits from an unfair whistle at home and has for years. This is common knowledge to coaches, fans and analysts.

But keep playing dumb.
