Looking at the boards, myself included, people were speculating and making their opinions know on who should, and who shouldn’t be our next head coach. Leach was on both lists.
Well. Leach is the coach. And now I read on both boards, who he should keep from our last staff, who he needs to bring in, again, those for and those against. But the real comical stuff is message board fans talking about who Leach should look at in the Transfer portal, especially where QB potential transfers are concerned. So, the Mullenator himself, the most beloved, yet often hated, former head coach at MSU, has suggested that being coached by Mike Leach would be good for Feleipe Franks, and message board warriors are saying: “we don’t want Franks.” That ain’t our decision now is it?
Mike Leach will pick his staff and his players and we can like it or curl up in a ball and cry about it.
This fan base was very fractured by the Joe Mo experiment. We have a huge opportunity to bring the fan base back together focused in one direction.
Let’s enjoy speculating and enjoy the process, but let’s not criticize possible transfers to our program, who may become very successful in a different system than where they are now.
If Leach wants Franks, then by gosh, I’ll be dang excited, because he was a starting QB at a premier SEC program.
It’s your program Coach Leach! Build it how you want.
